About us

East Pan-Asian Restaurant serves cuisine in a modern and eclectic decor reminiscent in some details of the effervescent days of old Shanghai.

Born from a very personal approach by owner restaurateurs, the concept of the East was developed with the intention of introducing customers to favorite dishes. Each dish on the menu is distinguished by its flavor and history depending on its country of origin. All lovers of Asian cuisine will be happy to remember them or simply discover them for the first time.

The East is also the perfect place to gather with friends and work colleagues after a busy day to enjoy a cocktail menu that invites travel. Developed by Lawrence Picard, the menu offers classics and creations with an “Old Shanghai” touch.

Also being the restaurant of the Renaissance Montreal Hotel, the East offers hearty breakfasts (traditional and a selection of Dim Sum) every day of the week.

Très bon service, ambiance sympa, calme. Ils ont un menu vegan & plusieurs options végétariennes. Nous avons pris un saumon teriaky & un tofu général tao. Excellents! & les portions sont généreuses. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. C'était notre première fois mais pas notre dernière !

Très bonne expérience grâce à Montréal à table. Nous sommes étudiants & donc très contents d'avoir pu goûter des plats de cette qualité pour un prix abordable. Seul bémol, une réduction de -50% sur le vin nous avait été annoncée en début de repas mais seulement au moment du paiement nous avons appris que c'était seulement sur la bouteille. Mais l'expérience reste super & la cuisine incroyable

Excellent rapport qualité-prix dans le cadre du festival Mtl à Table. 35$ par personne pour un trois services, sans surprise ou surplus monétaire, & surtout, quantité habituelle dans tous les plats! Je recommande!

Nous avons été déçus de la qualité de menu MTL à Table & du service par rapport aux nombreux midis que nous avons passé chez vous. C'est dommage. Les quantités étaient très bonnes cela dit.

J'ai beaucoup aimé le petit robot serveur. Ma petite cousine s'est beaucoup amusé avec lui. Large choix de sushis & autres mets japonais. Service rapide & bonne qualité de produit. Très bon.

Expérience de haute qualité. Notre serveuse, Unique, offre un service exceptionnel tout en s'exprimant dans un très bon français malgré qu'il ne s'agisse pas de sa langue maternelle. On y retourne sans hésiter.
