Great Diner & has underrated smoked meat.. use to be a late night spot as it was 24hr You would have to double check now but a nice portion with fries or poutine & that smoked meat always hit the right notes when entering Montreal through Decarie
It's not bad, not great, food is good not just the smoked meat but the pizzas & pastas, though very over priced even more than Schwarts & they are no where near the quality & flavor of Schwarts, even Reubens is a better bargain. Service is acceptable & a nice place to sit & catch up with friends very relaxing open atmosphere. Just the food is a tad over priced.
J'y vais habituellement, & à chaque fois, je reçois un bon service par n'importe quel ou quelle serveur.euse. Toujours accueilli avec un sourire. Les portions sont huge pour les prix qu'on paye. J'ai commandé la soupe à l'oignon, & le fromage était un peu brûlé, j'ai goûté cela. Les frites étaient aussi un peu trop cuites; il faut faire attention donc aux temps de cuisson.
Good location, cool diner atmosphere, pleasant natural light, good service & decent prices. We ordered medium smoked meat, it was well cut & didn't cost us the shirt's off our backs.
Great place food never better in montreal, too bad our main waitress, Seems too busy to attend our needs, So we had 2 different girls help us, sad She gets the tip, & the poor girls get The finger nothing. Next time, we shall get a good waitress. Thanks 😊
It's January 2024. I used to enjoy the smoked meat. Last week I had takeout. The meat was a bit rubbery & tasted more processed. Its color was not like the brisket type color I had before. If they changed the meat then I'm changing my supplier. I'd rather have shrinkflation & pay more for good meat.
Overpriced. Beware of substitutions. We used to come here quite often, but took a break when we moved to a different hood. Went back tonight with friends & were disappointed. The burgers tasted like they were frozen first, bland & not juicy. My child's kids meal of 2 chicken nuggets & veggies somehow cost $15, without dessert. I get inflation, but at least don't skimp on portions, flavor & quality. Serve was excellent as usual.

I wasn't happy with the service. The waitress took the order & never asked how was the meal. When she gave the bill asked for a 15% tip A tip is for good service not poor. The food e as good maybe 30 years ago not now.
Smoked meat sandwich & layered carrot cake really hit the spot when I needed it. The mustard was a surprisingly a bit overpowering, the bread would have been better lightly toasted.
