Review Summary

Dot.Falafel has quickly become a standout destination on the South Shore, frequently cited as serving the best, most authentic falafel in the area. Customers consistently praise the high quality of ingredients, noting that the falafel is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, often made fresh to order. Beyond the falafel, the menu earns high marks for its delicious hummus, fattoush salad, halloumi with honey, and flavorful sandwiches, all served in generous portions. A recurring highlight is the exceptional hospitality, as guests are frequently welcomed with samples and complimentary tea, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere. While the vast majority of experiences are overwhelmingly positive and highlight the shop as a must-visit local gem, some visitors have offered constructive feedback regarding service efficiency and operational consistency during peak times to further improve the dining experience.

My hubby & I went to dot falafel for the first time last week & were greeted immediately with a warm welcome. We got to sample a couple of free falafels & drink some delicious mint tea. We ordered the supreme platter (16 falafels, 3 sides & 3 pita breads). We upgraded one of the sides to the fried halloumi with honey which was so delicious! Crispy, fried to perfection & a touch of sweetness. We also had the msabbaha not knowing what it was but trusted the owner when he said its like a delicious, garlic hummus - no regrets! This dish was fab & we had enough leftovers for 2 meals at home. We also had the fattoush salad which was so fresh, tangy & crunchy with pita chips on top. The portions are very generous & we took leftovers home. Everything was so good & I can't wait to come back & try more items off the menu.

ordered through UberEats. the falafel pita itself was flavourful & yummy. however the serving sizes were so small... the falafel pita was so thin that at first I confused it with just a simple pita for the dip. I also felt scammed by the'family sized' portion of fattoush. the whole thing can be eaten in 5-6 bites. lastly, the fries were cold & stale.

Their falafel are made fresh to order, & one of the best I've had in North America. They tastes exactly like they make them back home. The pita was stuffed to the brim. The hospitality is 10/10, with free coffee & tea! Will definitely be driving out of my way to come back here.

One of the best falafel spots in Quebec. This is my second time visiting, & I enjoyed every single dish from hummus to falafel with their fresh pita bread. This is a must try!

I went during their opening week to try their falafel. I was greeted by very friendly staff who offered samples while we waiting for our sandwiches & feast platter to go. I am giving this a 3-star because even though the food was delicious, I was short-changed the food. The feast platter only came with the 2 options & NO falafels or pitas! I had emailed them about this the same day that this had happened. It's been over a week & still no response. So the rating is how they handled this situation.
