This Persian restaurant was an absolute gem! After we placed our order, they brought out freshly baked bread with walnuts, cheese, & herbs-a delightful complimentary touch that set the tone for the meal. 😋🍞👍
The food itself was outstanding. Every rice dish came with a beautifully crisp Tadig, with lavash Tadig in the center & rice Tadig surrounding it-a perfect combination of textures that made every bite incredibly satisfying. 🍚🤤🌟
The kebabs were top-notch, made with high-quality meat & expertly grilled. The Bonab Kebab, made from ground mutton, was exceptional-juicy, flavorful, & perfectly charred. The Kubideh was rich & tender, while the Kebab Tursh had a delicious tangy marinade that elevated its taste even more. 🔥🍖💯
Beyond the food, the restaurant had a warm & inviting ambiance, & the service was excellent. The staff was attentive, ensuring a great dining experience. If you're a fan of Persian cuisine or just love well-crafted food, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended! ✨👏😊
Bread, Kashke bademjun & zeytun parvarde taste was ok, dough was not what it should be, it would have been nice if they had more vegetarian options like ash reshte or barley soup & etc.
Food was great. The price was reasonable, & its staff were nice & polite.
Excellent service de la part d'Armin ! Il a été attentif, chaleureux & très professionnel. Il s'est assuré que nous ne manquions de rien, rendant notre expérience encore plus agréable. Merci, Armin !
We were a group of 16, & without informing us, a 20% tip was automatically added to the bill. I also unknowingly left an additional 18% tip (this was everyone else's experience in our goup), which I only realized after getting home. Transparency is essential in running a business, & unfortunately, Diba's management falls short in this regard.
Imagine they charged us for an extra bread while they earned enough money off of 16 meal
I had an incredible dining experience at Diba Restaurant . The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic Persian flavors that took me straight to Iran. The kebabs were juicy & perfectly grilled, & the saffron rice was fragrant & fluffy. The service was warm & welcoming, making the entire evening even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a genuine Persian culinary experience, this is the place to go.
Great food, amazing service, & perfect vibes. Love this restaurant their service is highly professional & attentive, & their Kebabs are really good.
I had an awesome time at this restaurant last Sunday! From the moment we walked in, the main hostess made us feel so welcome. She was super professional but still super friendly, which really set the vibe for the whole meal. The service was great, & the food was on point. Definitely coming back for more-highly recommend!
The atmosphere of the restaurant is really chic & family friendly. Staff were numerous & really nice. For starter, they brought cheese & freshly baked bread, both really delicious, I wish we could have ordered more bread. We ordered some Salad Shirazi & Mast moosir, salad shirazi wasn't good at all, but Mast Moosir was great. For the main course, we tried different kebabs, their koobide is not the best in town but the quality was acceptable. I enjoyed their kebab Torsh better.
Honestly it was one of the best restaurents in Canada. We were visiting from Ottawa & Diba was the best in Montreal! Food was great! We had barg & koobideh ! Kashke bademjoon was great too. They served us homemade breads with cheese & veggies ! Wonderful! Portion of the food was good for the price. The decoration was also great! The lady who served us was very friendly & professional! Will visit there for sure any time I go to Mtl.
Great atmosphere & the food was amazing. I feel like the service could improve.
Honestly, I can't complain about the quality or taste of the food. The only issue was the waitress, who initially brought us the wrong order. After five minutes, she realized the mistake & took the food from our table to serve it to the correct one. Personally, I didn't mind too much, but if I were in the other table's position, I definitely wouldn't have wanted that plate! I'd have preferred a fresh one.
Great food & atmosphere. Golnar provided great service & great meal recommendations.
I recently visited Diba, a newly opened Iranian restaurant in Montreal, & it was a wonderful experience. The attention to detail is impressive, making the atmosphere quite pleasant. The warm fresh bread served with cheese, herbs, & walnuts as a welcome is both nostalgic & delightful. The portions are generous, & the prices are reasonable for the quality of food served. The kebabs are especially delicious, & our dining experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Diba will definitely become a regular spot for us."
It was my first time going there. The food is good. Comparing to other Iranian restaurants in Montreal, I like their koobideh (ground bedf skewer) the most. Barg skewer (veal) was delicious, the chicken skewer was not the best I had. So I recommend to try their Koobideh for $24 which is two skewers of ground beef kebab with rice. That's a great deal They serve you a bread made in the oven with cheese, walnuts & parsley as appetizers for free! I forgot to take a photo of that. I didn't try drinks or side dishes, desserts or tea.
The service was very good albeit we received items we ordered as appetizers very late as well as drinks after our main course - the portions were big although the kebabs left to be desired - very pricey for what it is & I am not a fan of the concept of the kitchen in the basement - some plates were only room temperature when received at the table unfortunately. 200$ meal is a bit much in comparison to other places I would not go back in a rush back for example Gheimeh Stew small portion very little meat in mine for 24$ is too much .
Excellent food & service, our server Armin was attentive & friendly, providing recommendations when asked & ensuring that our glasses were never empty. The food arrived promptly, yet we never felt rushed. I appreciated the small touches, like checking in on us at the right moments & accommodating special requests with a smile.
The best Persian restaurant in Montreal, very fast & good service, specially Armin . Recommend
