I will be brief. When it comes to BBQ chicken, this the the best quality for the price on South Shore & one of the best places in the whole Greater Montreal area once again considering the quality for the price.
On the negative side, lots of local people know it & as a result the place can be crowded to the point that I avoid it during rush hour, but if you do not insist on dining in carry out never takes too much waiting time.
It's a bit darker & small place but in all I like their foods I loved it & also lots of my friends wants to come at least once a year during spring time to visit the flowers & plants! Lots of beautiful flowers in the area.
Well I had to change up my review…why you ask? The last two times we went they ran out of French fries & served us frozen fries & their chicken soup which is usu dry good was like canned Lipton soup but way over salted
I like to order the hot chicken sandwich & this time the quantity of chicken in the sandwich was 1/2 so I called the waitress & she said that's how it comes now so for 19$ never gonna order that again in fact after 20 years I don't think we will be eating there again prices have gone up too much & portion sizes have really gone down I am so so so disappointed with them even the size of my wife's 1/4 leg chicken meal was much smaller what a shame post Covid gouging finally caught up with them

Bonjour a tous , pendant 35ans ce resto était mon resto préférer pour le poulet & cote levee a savoir = un resto jumeau a (chalet suisse) inspirer & cree par un ancien cuisinier du chalet suisse .. Apres plusieurs années J'y suis aller hier & malheureusement c'est la dernier fois car ce que je préférais c'est les frites maison , ce qui n'est plus en vigueur malheureusement ... C'est quand meme bon & pas cher mais pas'exceptionnel' comme avant

Ça fait plusieurs fois que j'y viens, une première pour dîner & comme à l'habitude. Rapide, chaud & surtout délicieux. ❤? Les serveuses sont souriantes, même si elles sont débordées. Mention spéciale au côtes levées elles sont hallucinantes. 🤤❤?

Aussitôt assis (un samedi soir), on avait notre soupe devant nous & la serveuse attendait impatiemment que nous passions la commande.
Les assiettes nous ont été servies beaucoup trop rapidement & 30 minutes plus tard, l'addition arrivait.
Les prix ont beaucoup augmentés depuis quelques années & ceux-ci se retrouvent semblables aux concurrents (à part la soupe & le breuvage qui sont inclus dans le prix).
Nous nous sommes sentis comme dans une cafétéria. Vite, vite, déguerpissez afin de laisser la place au suivant.
Je ne crois pas retourner là, à moins d'y aller en dehors de heures de pointe!!
Nice local restaurant with good food. The ribs are fall off the bone & have the perfect grill taste. Although I wish they were served hotter. The chicken was also very tender & delicious. Poutine was solid too. Portions are big & prices are extremely fair. Would come back.
