Delibee's focuses on the preparation of authentic Montreal-style smoked meat, cured in-house to achieve a distinctively bold and peppery flavor profile. The menu highlights substantial sandwiches stacked with generous portions of hand-carved, tender beef served on traditional rye bread. Beyond the signature smoked meat, the kitchen offers an assortment of deli classics including coleslaw, pickles, and hearty soups designed to accompany the primary savory dishes. This establishment maintains a straightforward, utilitarian environment that prioritizes speed and consistent food quality for individuals seeking reliable deli fare. Patrons select from a variety of platter options that emphasize the craftsmanship involved in the curing and steaming process. The resulting sandwiches represent a core component of the regional culinary tradition, ensuring each plate remains faithful to time-honored methods of preparation and seasoning.
Delibee's is described as a classic Montreal smoked meat spot with generous sandwiches and platters, fresh fries, and a friendly retro vibe; the meat is widely praised for traditional flavor and tenderness, with standout items like brisket, beef ribs, and latkes, while a few visits note variable quality and some service hiccups, making it a solid, nostalgic go-to for a hearty smoked meat experience.
One of the best smoked meats I've ever tasted in my life. I highly recommend trying it. I honestly didn't expect that there were still places making smoked meat the old traditional way. The place brings back memories, & the staff are more than wonderful. I truly highly recommend it.

I gave it 1 star because it doesn't allow me to give it negative stars. This is by far, not only the worst smoked meat sandwich I have ever eaten in my life, but it is the overall worst restaurant experience I have ever had. These restaurant owners should be in jail for calling this place a restaurant. It is a disgrace to the restaurant industry. Oh my God it was SOOOOO BAD
I went here 20-25 years ago on lunch break in high school, & it hasn't changed a bit. Same friendly face, same amazing food. Make sure you get the smoked meat!!
Really enjoyed the food & the dining area! I love the old-fashioned décor & don't find it run-down at all. It was a hot day, & the AC in the restaurant worked perfectly. We ordered a quarter chicken leg (smoked) & a smoked meat sandwich - both were delicious! The fries & sauce were also excellent! Would come back often!

This is the best smoked meat restaurant. The inside of the restaurant has a lovely quaint rustic setting. We will definitely be back to eat there again soon.
Quite disappointed. My wife saw a glowing review online so we decided to try this place based on that review. We arrived for lunch, we were the only 2 people in the restaurant, there were 2 people working in the restaurant, the employees were pleasant. We ordered a special (sandwich, fries & drink) plus an extra sandwich with no mustard. It took almost 20 minutes to get our orders, remember we were the only 2 people in the restaurant with 2 people working in the restaurant. We finally received our orders & wife's order was wrong. Took another 8 minutes to get her correct order. Smoked meat was chewy (rubbery) & fries were burnt. We will not be going back!!!
Love this cozy little restaurant in ddo . I had the smoked meat special sandwich , fries cole slaw was fantastic , fair price for the portions , the staff was very nice & welcoming
Amazing smoked meat! Loved every bite. Poutine was top tier as well. Restaurant itself was quite small & old, lots of wear everywhere. But the food was good so it makes up for it
Used to be a fan when it was only Smoked Meat Pete's brother that owned it but the quality has definitely gone down hill since. Recently my husband & I decided to give it a try again as some people on reddit were talking about how the prices were better than Smoked Meat Pete's & the food was better as well. Sadly, they weren't right. The price is on par with Smoked Meat Pete's & the sandwich wasn't fantastic. The smoked meat itself isn't the traditional meat, it reminds me more of a roast beef sandwich, especially with how thin he shaved the meat. It was slightly on the bland side & the meat itself didn't have that typical texture either. All I am going to say is I am glad I only bought one sandwich to try & nothing else, take that however you want.
We got a takeout smoke meat sandwich here. Medium. The meat flavor is quite different compared to Schwartz's or Lester's -in a good way imo. It's not over seasoned. You can actually taste a hint of beef & feel a little of it's texture. Great smoked meat imo. The bread wasn't super fresh on a Friday evening.
