We visited this Indian restaurant for the first time last night & the food was absolutely delicious, incredibly flavorful, especially the beef bhoona. The atmosphere was calm & inviting, & the service was excellent. Our host was very attentive, & the food arrived perfectly timed-we never felt rushed. We will definitely be back & highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great meal. Thank you for a lovely evening!
The service was exceptionally efficient & well-organized, making for a seamless dining experience. The food was outstanding-prepared quickly yet with remarkable quality. The butter chicken was unlike anything I've ever had, rich & flavorful, while the goat curry was deeply satisfying. The kababs & tandoori dishes were cooked to perfection, each bite bursting with flavor. & the shrimp-without question, the best shrimp I've ever tasted-was simply unforgettable. The atmosphere complemented the meal perfectly, creating a warm & welcoming environment. Overall, an extraordinary experience that I would highly recommend!
Decided to try out this restaurant & I'm really happy I did. Excellent Indian food really fresh & so good. Friendly service too. Highly recommended! Will definitely be coming back.
My friend & I are visiting Montreal for dinner. I picked this restaurant, not just for the high rating on Google reviews but because of the food pictures. Their pictures were the only ones that made me instinctively say,'Ooh! I wanna eat there.'
So, we get seated & meet our terrific server Tahad (sorry if misspelled). I'm low key overwhelmed by all the options. I've never seen so many lamb dish options, never mind the chicken, vegetarian, & shrimp / seafood dishes as well.
We order veggie Pakosas. My friend orders Lamb Madras & naan. I order Chicken Karai with Kashmiri rice. My friend who loves lamb, gets it whenever he has the chance, tells me his dish is very good, probably the best lamb he's ever had. He loves the tenderness of the meat & the flavors.
I was excited when I saw the rice & my entree. My chicken karai was very flavorful, tender, & yummy AF. The rice, delightful!
Finally, I almost forgot to tell you about the pakosas. Tender potatos diced with finely ground spices. The 3 sauces were banging. The tamarind was very good. The dairy one also a great compliment. The pickled persimmon, no pickled passionfruit with black pepper? No... it was freaking CARROTS. Who the heck makes diced pickled carrots with black pepper that taste like this? I bought some to go!
Yes, though I live south of Canada's border, I look forward to visiting again & bringing my foodie friends.
Kudos to the chef, family, & serving staff here. It's definitely worth time if you are curious about eating here.
