Review Summary

Cuisine Arya is widely celebrated for offering some of the most authentic South Indian dining experiences in Montreal, with many patrons praising the quality and flavor of their signature dosas, idli, vada, and biryani. The restaurant is frequently described as a hidden gem, appreciated for its welcoming staff, efficient service, and reasonable pricing that delivers genuine, home-style cooking. While the majority of guests rave about the fresh, flavorful dishes and the respectful, attentive service provided by the team, some feedback suggests a desire for less artificial food coloring in the preparations. Overall, the establishment is highly recommended as a must-visit destination for those seeking traditional, delicious South Indian meals in a friendly and professional environment.

First things first, the staff was so helpful. They explained the ingredients very well & their advices of their Masala Tea & Idli were great. The service was quick, i got served within five mins of ordering. The location is at Metro Level (Peel). Womderful staff, Thanks Joshua/Jason for your extremely great service. I would love to go back & try more.

Nice food stall in Cours Mont Royal. Friendly service! Delicious food. We had samosas & two types of dosa. It was flavorful & well spiced! Very reasonable price! Highly recommended!

We visited Aarya's Kitchen today for the Tamil New Year celebration, & it was an amazing experience. The authentic Tamilian meal served on a banana leaf was truly special. Every item had its own distinct flavour, & the variety was impressive. You could feel the effort & tradition in every bite. A wonderful festive meal - highly recommended.

As a first time trying indian food.. I liked it & it was tasty but too spicy for someone who can't eat spicy food.

Extremely disappointing. I ordered 5 chicken kothu rotis & one mutton one, also asked for it to be very spicy (repeated this 3 times & it was the worst kothu roti ever. It literally tasted like boiled dough & meat. It was even missing salt!!! Though I asked for it to be spicy 3 times, I don't think I saw a single green chili in there. It was the palest kothu roti I've ever seen. We also got the chicken rolls which were mostly potatoes with a dash of chicken & obviously overpriced. Would never order again, literally the worst (also expensive). Could find wayyy better for a fraction of the price

I went there on march 5. I spent almost 21 dollars & ended up taking a few bites & throwing the rest once I got home. I ordered the chicken 65. It tasted very bad.

The guy working there doesn't speak good english so it is hard for him to give details about the menu. I wanted chicken biryani, it was not available.

Also, some creepy man came up behind me. I dont know if he wanted to harass me or steal something from me but I felt someone behind me & the worker was just watching & did not care or say anything. I got scared. I did not feel safe.

I do not recommend this place !!
