Review Summary

Crêperie St-Paul offers a cozy and rustic atmosphere in the heart of Old Montréal, serving a wide variety of sweet and savory crêpes that many guests find delicious, flavorful, and satisfying. The restaurant is frequently praised for its generous portions and convenient location, making it a popular spot for both quick snacks and relaxed meals. While many visitors enjoy the friendly staff, quick service, and the pleasant outdoor terrace, experiences are notably mixed. Some patrons encounter issues with slow or inattentive service, inconsistent food quality, and a lack of traditional French crêpe techniques, leading to varying opinions on whether the value matches the price point in this highly touristic area.

The waiters were very kind & patient with our orders. We received the food very quick & the food tasted amazing & is very accessible to the Muslim community as this place is fully halal.

Food was ok. Just the regular stuffed crepe you can get anywhere. But here they will need min 30 mins to prepare it.
Service was not good & unfriendly. Waiter seemed like not happy about us to come there.
Better find another place to eat.

Delicious food, prompt & friendly service, reasonable prices. What's not too like? Well, my meal did leave me unable to order one of the delicious-looking desserts that the people at the next table seemed to be enjoying. I guess I will have to return with a larger appetite!

Keep walking. The service was awful. They took forever to take our order & then when 3/4 of us ordered chicken dishes, they informed us that they didn't have any chicken.
Ended up substituting chicken breast for crappy turkey cold cuts. The veggies in the crepe were obviously canned & total mush.
Tap water is expected at a restaurant but warm & without ice? No.
The fries & onion n rings were great.
The bathroom.... don't get me started. Don't do it.
Pretty sure they rely on walk ins who are tourists...I doubt this review will do anything for anyone.

The butter crepes here were amazing & better than some of the more extravagant crepes we had at other cafes during our trip! The stairs up to the cafe are adorable, & the antiques & overall atmosphere of the restaurant is very charming! As other reviews have said, not sure why their rating is below 4.5 - glad we did not pass by!

First & last time. Very poor service, you have to beg for water & the bacon was awful.

Not recommended for salty crepes.
