We had eaten here 19 years ago, & we were thrilled to see that it was still open. The crepes were outstanding. The waiters were friendly & helpful. There is major construction nearby.

Wish I had stumbled upon this place first. First class Creperie, with salty & sweet Crepes, plenty of other options. Good prices, my crepe was worth every penny. They accommodated my take out request well. Great service, & not just a tourist attraction.
The food was ok ! Decent - not bad / not great crepes . Shrimp crepe had a thick layer of cheese on top which I did not enjoy or expect . I have had better crepes in my home state nj/ ny & was maybe expecting more from Canada & hence this place so was disappointed. Else it's clean / good location & staff . We paid about $130 for 4 people ( mentioning just as a reference).
I am not quite sure how this has such high reviews. Our dessert fondue was served cold as were the crepes on the dessert plate. My fruit was also NOT very fresh. Almost like it had been sitting a day or two after being cut. We had a different fondue restaurant the night before, & it was incomparable. On the flip side, My husband's ham & Swiss crepe was warm & yummy, so I guess that was a plus. The table was so uneven.that it almost knocked over our water glasses.
Very close together table setting outside, the onion soup was tasteless, they must use chicken broth, little onion. Escargot was just ok, & we had creperie suzette had more of a watered down syrup, no orange taste. The orange slices on it where difficult to eat with the rind still on. Very disappointed. The wine was very good.
"I recently dined at Chez Suzette again for the second time. . . & the staff again was extremely helpful in helping with making my choices, as the menu has recently been upgraded . . . The ambiance before was great, but now there's been an expansion on the first floor & the food came out in record time. I was told that there was an expansion of the kitchen as well which explains the efficiency. . . I enjoy the food before but with this new menu it has now surpassed my prior expectations. It was all that being said, I took home a few of the amazing dessert crepes for my daughters, one was an Oreo & the other was a Tiramisu & when I open the containers & showed it to them there was sheer Glee on their faces. . . I'm so looking forward to my next visit. . . This time I'm going to sit in the outside seating that's there. . . See you soon Chez Suzette
Friendly Service & excellent Crepes! Get the strawberry cheesecake one, you can't go wrong. I absolutely love it! I walked in here based on another Google review talking about how great these are, follow my lead & don't pass up eating crepes here!

I've eaten here a few times years ago under the old owner. It was OK. I've recently discovered there is a new owner with some new items on the menu, new eating areas, expanded kitchen... with a more exciting vibe. I recently went to revisit it & everything was amazing! I had the lobster bisque to start. This is the best lobster bisque I've ever had! It was creamy & piping hot. Then, I had their escargot au gratin with the garlic bread au gratin. I recommend getting both to dip into the butter & to make an escargot canapé with each bite. They are very generous with the cheese & it's toasted just right. For my main plate, I tried a new item on their menu, the crêpe with the smoked salmon! It arrived beautifully decorated with tomato slices, lemon slices, red onions & capers. It was also amazing. I didn't have room for their amazing dessert crêpes this time around, I will definitely be back much more often to try everything again.
Bonne crêperie dans le vieux port, les prix sont raisonnable considérant l'emplacement. Je trouve juste ca dommage que les verres d'eau soient en plastique, j'aurai aime un minimum de standing comme les autres restaurants du vieux port.
Both the sweet & savoury crepes were really really good (western vegetarian & cheesecake options). We also got the cheese fondue but the assortment of bread to dip in it could've been better - one type that was served tasted particularly stale. We also felt a bit rushed to order by the waiter who checked on us every 30 seconds or so to see if we're ready to order - but otherwise it was pleasant
My husband & I came here twice during our trip. We came for crepes originally, then we really wanted to come back for the fondue. & I'm glad we did, both meals were great. Service was good & staff were friendly.
