La cuisine n'est pas gastronomique, mais succulente: lasagne, brochettes de poulet, pizza, smoke meat, club sandwich, soupe aux pois & soupes tomates, petits-déjeuners & j'en passe. Comme je ne mange pas de ce que je n'aime pas, c'est facile.
La déco est d'un autre âge (comme le mien). Sise angle 4e Avenue & Masson depuis près de 30 ans, ce resto nous fait sentir chez-nous & ne tente pas des expériences culinaires à un prix exorbitant. Il nous sert ce que nous voulons en étant très attentifs à nos goût.
En prime, la clientèle de Rosemont qui nous permet les nouvelles de notre voisinage. Prix: entre 15 & 30 $ selon le choix.
Nous profitons des options: sur place, commandes à emporter & livraison selon la situation. Repas: petit déjeûner, brunch, dîner & souper même des en-cas.
Ce resto en étant un de quartier se retrouve rarement avec une longur file d'attente. Rarement plus de 10 minutes.

Continuing my mission to try all of the classic Montreal diners, I finally made my visit to La Corvette. If you are a lover of classic Canadian diners this is a must-try. Places like this are neat because simply by never updating their aesthetic, after enough years they achieve the most authentic retro aesthetic merely by staying the same, which is hilarious & beautiful when you think about it.
Service was great, the staff was helpful & welcoming to me & my friend. I went for a gyro pita & was shocked at how good it was. Came out fast too. Meat was normal quality but this thing was made with love. I love tzatziki & they loaded it with the stuff which made me so happy. Something about the steamie just slapped so much harder than most of the other steamie I've had so far. This place was just saturated in'classic diner' experience from every one of it's aged pores from the atmosphere to the food.
