Across reviews, Como Pizzeria is praised for a classic, generously topped pizza with a creamy cheese layer, a bold tomato sauce, and a crust described as buttery by many, making it a standout on the south shore and for some the best pizza in town. Customers note a warm, family run vibe and reliable service, with staff described as friendly and the dining experience often quick, though busy periods can bring longer waits. Many praise the menu variety, including pizzas, subs, and Italian dishes, and repeatedly cite value for money and generous portions, with the sauce and toppings highlighted as standout features. On the downside, some reviews mention changes in ingredients or consistency over time, occasional delivery or order issues, and at times pizzas arriving unsliced or not prepared for easy takeout. Parking is limited on street, with occasional access to parking behind the bank, and seating can be tight during peak hours. Taken together, Como Pizzeria comes across as a beloved local staple that delivers hearty, satisfying pizzas with strong flavor and dependable takeout or dine-in, while a few visits note room for improvement in consistency and hours.
Como Pizzeria is a throwback to the way all restaurants should be. It's a very old school & has a weird charm to it. The pizza is some of the best I've had in the city. If you like old school thick crust, greasy pizza, You should definitely check it out. Service was excellent. Served by old ladies that have probably been there for 50 years. I go to a lot of restaurants & I rarely get my water refilled & a check up to see if everything's all right & they pass the test in spades. If you're looking for an old school diner type atmosphere with some of the best pizza the city has to offer, check it out It's a gem.

Today because of the power outage in our area, we have to go outside to eat. We ordered two signature pizzas, the first & the other one in the menu picture. The price for the first one is $13 & another one is $17. But I didn't check before payment. They charge the first one for $16. I want to ask them for it. But my husband stopped me & we don't have the energy to waste time just for these few dollars. But I feel cheated, do you think we wouldn't know? I won't go back. & be careful about this!
