Comme Chez Soi is widely appreciated as a high-quality, welcoming restaurant that consistently delivers flavorful meals, with many diners praising its varied menu and the popular bring-your-own-wine policy. While the majority of reviews highlight excellent, professional service and a cozy atmosphere, some guests have noted inconsistencies in food temperature and occasional overcooking, particularly with seafood and meat dishes. The environment is frequently described as delightful, especially on the terraces, though some patrons found the interior dining area to be quite noisy when busy. Despite a few isolated reports of longer wait times or challenges with specific meal preparations, most visitors view it as a top-tier destination in Bromont that offers great value and a reliably pleasant culinary experience.
Visité un vendredi soir, (c'est notre 2ieme visite) installés sur la terrasse couverte à l'arrière. Nourritures succulentes, service aimable & attentionné avec discrétion. Ambiance conviviale. C'est notre restaurant préféré à Bromont. Bravo à toute équipe!

Honestly the worst meal I've had in a long time. It was my father in law's 90th birthday dinner. There were 8 of us. We were seated not in the main part of the restaurant, but in a back room. Our dinner reservation was early, just after 5pm, so we were the only ones there for the first hour. This was good. Then the hoards came in. I figure there were 42 people seated in a room that should have had only 30 or so. We were shoulder to shoulder & it was so loud you had to shout to be heard. This was extremely unpleasant, claustrophobic & so much more crowded than the restaurant's main room. If I could give 0 stars for atmosphere, I would. Now onto the food. We ordered a range of appetizers, some more successful than others. Salmon tartare was very good, salad was fine, but others like the mini-beef wellington had no beef in it & the shrimp tempura was not tempura but breaded & dark brown from over-frying. The main courses were ok if you chose correctly or inedible if you chose wrong. My husband had the misfortune of selecting the rack of lamb & duck confit duo. For the love of god, do not order this dish! When it came, both the lamb & duck were covered in sauces that had visibly congealed, especially the one on the duck. The dish was lukewarm & he could peel the sauce off the duck. Now onto the lamb. We have had rack of lamb many times before & agree that it should be medium rare. His was more rare than rare. Almost raw with no browning. He thought of sending it back but the thought of extending our stay in the opressive din of that dining room changed his mind. He shared my meal (shrimp with linguine in rose sauce) instead. My dish was ok, but the almost raw vegetables(yellow pepper, zucchini, cauliflower & carrots) served alongside did nothing for the dish & in fact, detracted from it.The shrimp were large & good but the amount of linguini provided seemed meagre for a pasta dish. Service was ok, but food came quite slowly, considering we were alone in the back room for an hour. Overall, we were extremely disappointed given this was a 90th birthday dinner celebration. Go to this restaurant at your own peril!
Merci!😏
