This place is a gem. Wonderful service, great music, fantastic food. The charcuterie board is a must try. Great prices, we paid $60 for the board & 2 glasses of wine.

Dining here is truly an experience that transcends the typical restaurant outing-it's an artistic journey through flavor! This establishment is the brainchild of culinary experts who prioritize creativity in every dish they serve, & it shows.

The menu is short, & each item is a masterpiece. An expertly crafted menu - every dish we tried was uniquely outstanding. The small portions may seem modest, but they are surprisingly filling & bursting with flavor. I found the food so exquisite that I didn't want to eat anything else afterward, wanting to savor the incredible tastes lingering on my palate.

One standout was the mousse de foie, elevated by the incredible camerise (haskap) jello that added a delightful twist. The Candy Cap Mushroom'Mille crêpes' was unlike anything we've ever tasted-the mushrooms infused the dish with a beautiful maple flavor that was simply divine. 🍄🍁 & the whipped ricotta on focaccia? Absolutely incredible!

The vintage aesthetic of the restaurant, complete with cabinet plates, adds to the charm & creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. Coupled with great service, my experience was nothing short of exceptional.

A dining adventure that celebrates creativity & unique flavors, this place is a must-visit! I can't wait to return & see what the ever-changing menu has in store next! 🌟🍽?❤?

Une superbe soirée en amoureux! Nous avons découvert ce bel endroit, & j'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner… un super service, une ambiance jazz/vintage qu'on adooooore, des short drinks très parfumés & une nourriture excellente. Sincèrement, ce restaurant fait partie de mon top 3 de Montréal ! Le dessert gâteau crêpes PAS DU TOUT SUCRÉ, mes papilles s'en souviendront longtemps… Un gros merci aux propriétaires pour ce bel accueil & bravo à la cheffe 🧑?🍳 À très vite ☺?

Notre nouveau'go-to' dans le quartier Villeray! Le service est impeccable - les proprios (qui sont aussi les charmants serveurs/cuisiniers) prennent le temps de parler à chaque client, créant une atmosphère intime & différente des autres adresses que nous avons essayées. Nous avons reçu des formidables conseils quant au vin/à la nourriture & tout était délicieux! Réellement un bijou - nous sommes chanceux d'avoir un tel restaurant dans le quartier🤩

This'kinda different' restaurant is everything I want & love: a bright & inviting space, beautiful vintage dinnerware & glassware, the most relaxing atmosphere by such an inviting Sommelier & FOH, delicious savoury & sweet snack-type dishes created by a super talented chef!

I've visited 4 times in the span of 4 months already… & I don't even live in Montreal anymore :)

But seriously - I love Claire Jacques. It's my favourite restaurant in Montreal. I love coming here. I love what Laurence & Philippe, the co-owners & real-life partners have created ❤?

It was a nice discocery in the neighborhood. A perfect place for locals to look forward to their next visit. The Claire Jacques has this cosy atmosphere which make it a perfect place to go for everyday occasions. . Highly recommend if you are looking for an apéro, a light diner or a late-night snack in a place that feels homey.
