Le 27 mars 2026, grâce à mon amie Diane Talbot, j'ai eu le bonheur de vivre une expérience gastronomique singulière au Claire Jacques, 8111, rue Saint-Denis à Montréal. Nous sommes entrées dans un lieu hors du temps qui garde de précieuses traces du passé de Laurence, la chef propriétaire. Nous avons profité de l'accueil & du service attentif de Philippe, le sommelier. Les plats sont d'une grande élégance & les saveurs sont singulières : tout est frais, inventif & parfaitement équilibré. Les parfums restent longtemps en bouche. L'équilibre & les textures sont parfaitement maîtrisés, tout comme les techniques. & que dire des accords mets-vins ! Tout est parfait. Longue route à vous, Laurence & Philippe. Je reviendrai ! »

Beau décor rétro. Petit local avec une vingtaine de places. Ils ne sont qu'une équipe de 2, assez impressionnant. Le serveur connait très bien le menu. Les verres de vins proposés étaient parfait. Nous en avons profitez pour essayer 4 plats, tous délicieux. De bons produits frais, des plats bien asaisonnés & un excellent dessert au coing pour terminer. Ce fût une belle découverte!
