Chungchun Kogo Coreen draws mixed reviews: many diners praise the tasty crispy corn dogs with a wide range of sauces and toppings, good value and quick options for a crunchy lunch, and some note especially appealing versions like teriyaki coated or sweet potato pogo; others report long waits, occasional items sold out with few alternatives, and at least one instance of undercooked pogo. Online hours are sometimes wrong, leading to wasted trips. The Downtown location is described as the fastest, while service quality varies with visits, from friendly and attentive to average. Overall Chungchun Kogo Coreen is seen as delivering tasty options and solid value for pogo lovers, but satisfaction can vary by location and visit depending on stock, wait time, and how the staff handles substitutions or shortages.
we order a half cheese half meat Kogo & the girl claimed they didn't have that available today but "had every other flavour available". This is SO WEIRD because isnt a half & half just half a cheese & half a meat so if they have every other flavour available shouldn't they have both cheese & meat available Cuz on the menu there's cheese only & meat only options. Anyways we thought that was suspicious & to add onto that, we ordered the ramen Kogo but they forgot to add the actual ramen lol so we had to wait another 10mins for them to redo it. The Kogo was alright but honestly not worth the hype I wouldn't recommend it.
Service is slow. Despite that, the employee was nice & the food I received was good but might have not been worth the long wait. Definitely give it a try if you have the time.

The food here is incredibly delicious, but the service is lacking. The wait time for my order was very slow; I waited 20 minutes just for a hot dog, which is surprising for a pre-made item. There were no staff at the front to assist, & I had to wait a long time just to ask questions, like inquiring about halal options. The atmosphere was cramped, forcing customers to wait outside, which could be uncomfortable in the summer heat. I recommend opting for takeout instead; it might be a better experience.
I was recently staying in Montreal & tried a few places in the area here. Chungchun caught my eye & I tried their Tteokboki, baby monster, & fries. The Tteokboki was great & the fries were nothing special but they were hot & crispy. The baby monster was great but I wish it had more cabbage. The actual interior of this place was pretty confusing. To order there is a kiosk on the left when you walk in. However it seems that if you wait at the register long enough the staff will take your order. The inside is also small so a lot of people are standing around & its hard to tell who is in line vs. who is waiting to order.
Space is very cramped, but service not too slow. I ordered cheese chungchung with potato exterior; They changed the recipe. It used to be bigger potato piece; now it's weirdly fried & I taste the fried more than the potatoes. Cheese though was not too bad.
Took twenty-five minutes to get our order. We were not given enough corn dogs, & upon speaking to the staff, he just denounced our concern & argued with me. It was busy & we had waited long enough, I just didn't figure it was worth it to argue with him. Bad service
I had the volcano & it wasn't spicy at all. Even my friend who is very sensitive to spice didn't feel it was even remotely spicy. My friend had the classic & wasn't impressed.

The food is so good, service has always been great, my only complaint is that the space is quite small & fills up fast! So if you don't like tight spaces I'd send a friend in to make your order while you wait outside. Otherwise this is a great place & you absolutely get bang for your buck!
