the service was okay but they called us an hour after we were seated to ask why we didn't show up!!! We said we are in the restaurant...I found it was lack of organization. The food nothing special the tomahawk was 2/10 super hard to chew & the presentation was not great The tartare was 7/10 the drinks 8/10... The place is very nice but not going back.

Deux points sur les crevettes flambées:
Les crevettes étaient de bonne qualité
L'accompagnement laissait à désirer car trop crémeux & insipide.
Quand on dit flambées il y a une légèreté mais cette fois-ci il y a eu une lourdeur qui a persisté jusqu'au matin.

Je connais Chez Lionel à Laval y étant allé plusieurs fois & j'ai toujours donné de bons commentaires. Hier on fêtait une amie pour son 80ième anniversaire avec 13 invitées. Le resto nous a offert une salle privée, FORMIDABLE pour un groupe, comme d'habitude le menu du midi offrait un très bon choix Imbattable, qualité prix. Une invitée a commandé un repas sans gluten son commentaire'délicieux & sans symptôme ce matin' . Les repas ont tous été servis en même temps & étaient chauds le tout orchestré magistralement par Danaée, sa patience son grand sourire & son efficacité EXCEPTIONNELLE.& les invitées sont unanimes 5 étoiles pas assez nous donnons 10 sur 10.

i went last night with my girlfriend on a date & we ordered 3 entrees & 3 main plates, we got our 3 entrees & the food was amazing we really enjoyed it, i called my waitress & asked her how long till the main dishes, she told me around 10 minutes, i asked if she could push it to 15 since i wanna go outside & have a smoke, she said it's no problem & she didn't ask for any id or anything to leave w her, & she directly left, i tried waiting for her to come back since i wanted to leave an id but she never did so i went outside to smoke in my car since its freezing cold outside, & all of a sudden i see my waitress knocking on my door with the bill in her hand shouting you need to pay, this is truly unacceptable since i made sure to tell her before we left our table, to avoid this particular thing from happening, this is a true form of racism just because i had an accent, she thought i would run away, it's so disrespectful & unprofessional, if she was gonna cause all this scene she should've asked me to leave an id or something, it's her fault for not asking me for anything to keep, our waitress was dana g or something, i wanted to leave this review public but i work in the same industry & i know how harmful such review would do to an amazing restaurant which you guys run, regardless of the situation that happened you guys have amazing food, i just wish you guys would take proper care of this not happening again to anyone else.

Pleasantly surprised about this restaurant! We went to celebrate my husbands birthday & the waitress was so attentive & kind. The food was great. All in all good time. Will definitely return! Thank you

C'était notre première expérience Chez Lionel. Ce fût une super belle soirée. Notre serveur Jesse nous a donné un très bon service. Il était à notre écoute & de bon conseil pour les plats & l'accord de notre vin. Le restaurant est très beau , la nourriture excellente. Belle ambiance .La qualité de la cuisine est dans les aliments frais & les petits détails & c'est exactement ce que nous avons trouvé chez Lionel. Bravo à l'équipe, nous reviendrons.
