"Ordered chole bhature & kulcha. Kulcha was okay, but the bhature tasted stale, like it was days old. I had recommended this place to a friend after a good past experience, but this time was really disappointing. I hope they work on serving fresher food."
The food & service were great. We opted to order off the menu as there were more authentic options. The food was delicious, portions were more than enough & the service was perfect. We also ordered a recommended appetizer, the fried okra. It's was like eating Indian spiced fries - delicious. Another thing, we were there during Grand Prix, & I didn't feel they took advantage of us like other restaurants that have a separate Grand Prix menu which is really just +15% regular price. I highly recommended Devi next time you're in the area.
exceptional experience with authentic Indian cuisine. The naan is perfectly soft & slightly crispy, making it the perfect companion for the dishes. The Butter Chicken stands out as one of the best I've ever had-tender chicken in a rich, creamy sauce that's bursting with flavor. The quality of the food here is top-notch, reflecting the care & expertise that goes into each preparation. Highly recommended for anyone craving a true taste of India!
SHOULD NEVER TRY THIS RESTAURANT Food is ohhkay ! Not a deal breaker. Much expensive (compared to other fine dines) Total bill without Tip & gratuity was $259.66. The thing we hated most was that for a group of 5 the charged 18% gratuity($46.74) & then after paying the amount they asked for extra 20% tip & told us that it was mandatory & if you don't tip you won't be allowed to exit the restaurant. After arguments we paid $51.93 & they denied to give us the receipt of that amount. So total amount paid extra = $98.67 I would not mind paying this extra amount if the food provided was out of the world & never tried something like this before. So these guys are ripping off people. Will never recommend anyone.

Yesterday, I ordered butter chicken with Naan from this restaurant. Taste was simply amazing & felt like having food in India. I recommend people in downtown should try this!!
Wonderful find on Crescent street. Drinks are good, food as well. The service from our bartender Habib was impeccable. Will definitely recommend to family & friends.
Ambiance chaleureuse le staff est vraiment bonne ambiance le barman repond a vos besoin en question de gout ma premiere fois dans ce bar & je vais clairement revenir & le recommandé a mes proches
Shubhra welcomed me into the restaurant with a beautiful smile & was very helpful with my food & wine selection. Recommend if you want something different from all the burgers in this area. Thank you 😃
Absolutely delicious, & the service was wonderful! The staff were attentive & friendly, & the ambiance is warm, spacious & authentic. Would recommend to any lovers of indian food!
Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The decor, the atmosphere, the servers & most importantly, the food.
I went during the lunch hours but I asked for the a la carte menu because I like to see everything that is offered.
Anyways, I ordered the chicken tikka, the shredded okra, & their homemade samosas for starters accompanied with a mango yogurt drink. The chicken tikka for an appetizer was very pleasing. Tender & juicy & very flavourful - with the yogurt dip it was perfect! The samosas were also really good, though nothing too too special about them. The shredded okra dish was the server's recommendation (I think he was the manager or something from the way he acted - professional & polite). It was great. The okra isn't for everyone but vegetarians will sure like it. It has a mixture of tangy & spicy flavour with some onions & tomatoes mixed in.
For the main course I asked for the spiciest dish & he recommended the kudai (spelling?) chicken. I also ordered a super spicy chicken biryani. I was extremely pleased with the flavour in both dishes. Boy they were extremely spicy ... Like burning hot panting type spicy. Loved it!
I give this restaurant a 10/10.
I will be back to try their butter chicken & a spicy lamb dish.
