Finally, a great Portuguese restaurant not far from Montreal!
This place had been on my'must-try' list for ages, but I never found the right excuse to go-until now. & what can I say? It will definitely become my go-to whenever I'm craving Portuguese food.
I didn't take enough pictures of all our dishes, but I think that's a pretty good sign 🤪 I was too busy enjoying the food!
My friend & I went on a Saturday night without a reservation. I had called ahead & was told there was no need to book in advance. They were right. The place was busy when we arrived, so I was a bit worried we'd have to wait, but we were seated immediately. It was seamless.
Our waitress was incredibly friendly & patient. Since my friend & I planned to mostly order fish, & we can be a bit picky 😅😅 we had a lot of questions & she answered all of them with a smile, which made the whole experience even better.
Now let's talk about the real star: the food 😋😋
Absolutely chef's kiss from beginning to end 🤤
We ordered the grilled octopus. It was perfectly executed, & the chickpeas were divine. The garlic shrimp? Incredible. That sauce was something else! The Grelots potatoes were crispy & the mix with the arugula cheddar sauce was great. & the halibut? Perfectly cooked & absolutely delicious.
The only thing I would've loved was some bread 🙈🙈 but to be fair, we didn't have the courage to ask for it 😂😂
For dessert, we had Pasteis de Nata & lemon pie. Both were excellent.
Kudos to the chef for beautifully executing delicious dishes. I'm already looking forward to going back.View more

My wife & I had a wonderful lunch at Cervéjaria today to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious: we highly recommend the garlic shrimp (crevettes à l'ail) & the caldo verde. The restaurant also offers a good variety of wines. I enjoyed a red wine from the Alentejo region, which is one of my favorite wine producing regions in the world.View more

Une soirée qui s'annonçait bien a été un peu terni par les assiettes format tapas commandées. Sardine grillée correct, la pieuvre bonne sans plus & le boudin noir manquait de goût & pâteux sous forme de 3 boules frites. C'était la deuxième fois que nous y allions dont la première nous avions été très satisfaits. Possible que nous avons fait des mauvais choix. Le vin portugais était excellent. Ce n'est pas ma première visite, je fréquente plus ou moins régulièrement l'établissement depuis son ouverture mais je n'avais jamais rédigé d'avis. Il est temps de corriger cela. Nous avons pris le menu dégustation, pour goûter à un peu de tout. Nous avons commencé avec un plat sur l'ardoise, de tomates bien fraiche, se sont enchaînés ensuite les palourdes, le poisson (délicieux) avec les légumes du jours (exquis), le pintxo de boeuf, les dattes & chorizo. En guise de dessert Tarte au citron & Bolo de Bolacha un genre de tiramisu. & bien sûr, on y retournera surement :)View more
