Maison du Cari des Caraïbes draws strong praise for its roti, especially goat and oxtail options, with many reviewers calling the flavors authentic, vibrant, and as good as in the past, often at a good value. Patrons note friendly and lively service when the staff are on, and some celebrate a warm, casual atmosphere. However, several reviews mention inconsistent service, occasional rude or inattentive staff, and hours or menu items not aligning with expectations, including days when dishes like plantains or salads are not available despite menu notes. Changes in ownership are cited by some as affecting flavor and preparation, while others still praise reliable portions and quick lunches, including affordable lunch specials. Overall, the place is recognized for delicious, satisfying Caribbean staples and a memorable, if sometimes uneven, dining experience.
J'achète à cet endroit depuis tellement longtemps, tout est toujours bon. Mais aujourd'hui: la déception totale! Le goat roti immangeable ! J'espère que ce fût l'expérience d'un jour & que tout reviendra à la normale...
I just ordered jerk chicken & it was inedible. The plate was all over the place & all mixed up. The salad was mixed with the rice. I had to throw it away & get a refund from Uber Eats thanks to the restaurant's poor food quality & service. It was not the fault of the driver. Definitely will never order from here again & will telling friends & family to do the same!

I came on a tuesday evening; lots of seating & had my plate in 5 minutes. Food was delicious & reasonably priced: 35$ including standard tips…I was not even offered a glass of water with my meal, no ambiance, no music & no'is everything good?'.
It was very underwhelming. Hands down, It's a great restaurant but…for take-out.
Ive been eating here for so long, not even once was i disapointed .I eat here every week more then once.🤣 Ive ate there twice one day. Il go out of my way to some authentic home cooking… im addicted.. Great job guys( & yal Girls to)✌?🫶..
Wow, best Roti in Montreal, hands down. Small & discreet, no frills, but boy oh boy, the food (& service) is outstanding. Worth the trip if you like/love Rotis!
Maybe we came in to eat in odd hours between lunch & dinner but the jerk chicken although was tasty was not hot. It was also my first caraibes experience, so maybe the food temperature was normal?
