Our mission: to offer ethical, delicious, and local coffee in a warm and friendly setting. Beau petit café, situé dans un secteur de Montréal (Maisonneuve) qui offre peu d'options de sorties. Leur chaï latte est très bon! Par contre, l'ambiance est gâchée par le bruit excessif & la boucane qui émanent de l'espace "cuisine" situé en plein milieu du local. On ressort de ce café mal ventilé avec des vêtements qui sentent le grilled cheese brûlé! C'était la même chose quand ce local était occupé par le Hoche Café.

One of my favorite cafes in town. They use the oolong chai from Say When which is spicy & not too sweet. The ambiance is excellent for working. Smooth Amy Winehouse playing in the background not too loud for taking a meeting or anything. & the place is quite big. Front space with tables & then a back area tucked away. Good wifi, pastry & light food options, good decaf coffee, & just vibes. Highly recommend! One downside is though that it's pricey. CAD$8 for the iced decaf soy dirty chai.

This is my favourite café in Montreal for just having coffee, working on the laptop or meeting people. The staff is super friendly & the quality of the coffee, pastries, sandwiches & salads is consistently superb!

Le lieu est super bon l'accueil est chaleureux, la bouffe est bonne mais le barrista est tellement LENT.ce ne sera plus possible pour moi d'arrêter avant le travail...10 minutespour un café, c'est beaucoup trop long . J'ai déjà été barrista dans le passé est c'est très possible de faire plus d'un café à la fois avec ce genre de machine,faudrait lui apprendre.Mais le service est agréable là, juste trop long pour les matins pressés.

7.85 pour un grand café latte je trouve que c'est un prix légèrement exorbitant. Ce qui me fait venir écrire un commentaire c'est surtout que mon gobelet étais rempli un peu moins qu'au 3/4. Belle place. Ambiance agréable & leur café latte est excellent mise à part le prix.

Maybe it was the fact Covid doesn't let me out anymore, or maybe it was the fact that Hoche Café is really just that amazing. My morning espresso was literally the best I can remember having coupled with a generous & savory breakfast sandwich, & it was made all the better by the knowledgeable, upbeat & friendly staff! I also purchased ground coffee, & was blown away by the amazing (& local) selection, as well as the wonderful advice of the in-house barista. I'll be back...SOON! Thanks Hoche-Café for starting my day off perfectly!

Canard cafe is a neighborhood cafe, very laptop & business meetings friendly. I go there with my laptop & can easily spend the day. Coffee (double espresso lungo) is on point, food is really good, I love their Montreal grilled cheese sandwich, the Tahiti salad & their daily soups are served with freshly grilled baguette giving the soup an extra punch. Their dessert & pastries are good by their own merit, the dates square are my favorite.

Love this cafe! I go ever so often when I need a quiet place to work. Often busy but finding a table is not too difficult! There is a ton of seating in the back. I love their chai latté & have had their soup once (very decent). Service in both English & French. Love the atmosphere & ambiance!

OK pour le café, bons biscuits & muffins maison. Pour ce qui est des gaufres, un flop total.....genre des gaufres achetées dures, farineuses, servies froides & très sucrées. À oublier......15$ l'assiette de deux petites gaufres.......
