Review Summary

Overall, Cambodiana tends to receive praise for flavorful dishes and a pleasant ambiance, with many noting a clean kitchen and friendly service when staff are attentive. Dishes such as soups, General Tao and Pad Thai are highlighted as tasty, though portions can be smaller and prices fairly steep for the value, particularly when compared with other options nearby. Service quality is described as good or excellent at times, but some visits are slowed by limited staff, leaving diners a bit hungry despite a satisfying meal. Several notes suggest adding more vegetables to certain plates and that a more Asian inspired decor could better match the cuisine. Taken together, Cambodiana offers solid flavors and dependable dining, but value and portion size vary by visit and can influence overall satisfaction.

I recently dined at Cambo & wanted to share my experience. The food was quite nice, showcasing a variety of flavors that were enjoyable. However, I found the prices to be quite steep compared to other places outside of Joliette, where the prices are more competitive. This was a bit disappointing.

I tried the General Tao, & it was different from what I'm used to. While it had its own unique twist, the portion size was quite small. I also sampled the Pad Thai, which was made well but, again, left me wanting more. The portions were not substantial enough to consider asking for a take-home bag.

Overall, Cambo is not a bad place to dine in, but the prices & portion sizes do not seem to offer good value. For just one meal, I ended up spending $38, which felt excessive for what I received. If you're looking for a unique dining experience & are willing to pay a premium, it might be worth a visit. However, if you're after more generous portions & better value, you might want to explore other options.

Toujours aussi plaisant, le pad thaï & le poulet impérial étaient excellents, les portions très généreuses. Merci pour la belle soirée!
