Patrons encounter a utilitarian space designed for efficiency, prioritizing the rapid assembly of substantial handheld meals. Signature offerings include layered meat compositions balanced with crisp greens and house made condiments. The environment maintains a no nonsense approach to service, emphasizing the integrity of the ingredients over ornamental flourishes. Each sandwich undergoes precise construction to ensure structural consistency and optimal flavor distribution. This destination serves as a primary hub for individuals seeking robust deli staples prepared with technical attention to detail within a streamlined urban setting.

This place is a landmark! Anyone strolling through the street of Old Montreal needs to take in & enjoy Café Titanic's amazing sandwiches, roasted vegetables, desserts, & coffee. I have enjoyed every biteful over the years & they have consistently delivered deliciousness to the table, or to our offices. Wishing them continued success!

Do ask about the price of EACH item you order / buy. We were surprised, after a long search for a staff member (at 3pm on a Monday) to bill us, at the total bill. Further inquiry revealed that soup was not "de jour" ($7) but a "meal" ($18.95). The espresso was dirty style (almost Turkish coffee but without the flavor, $3.50.) Perrier, in cans was as expected, refreshing ($3.50/ea). A bowl of soup, coffee, & a couple sodas: $33.86 naturally no tip. Financial surprise aside. The interior is interesting & we had the whole place to ourselves.
