I was invited to a latte art class at Café Saint-Henri-& let me tell you, it was the perfect blend of cozy vibes & cool coffee culture.
The space? Absolutely gorgeous. Spacious & minimalist, with plenty of natural light, sleek stone surfaces, & just enough greenery to keep things feeling fresh. It's the kind of café where you can truly settle in-whether you're solo-working, catching up with a friend, or (like me) trying your hand at some latte art.
For the class, we used their Holy Cow Guatemalan espresso blend-& wow. Smooth & complex, with notes of caramel, black cherry, & cocoa that linger beautifully. Honestly? I'd drink it straight-no milk needed.
I'm definitely heading back soon to explore the rest of their menu.

Café Saint-Henri in Villeray is a solid choice for good coffee. The atmosphere is pleasant, making it a nice place to relax or get some work done. Friendly staff. What really stands out is their selection of coffee beans. I highly recommend buying a bag & grinding them at home , it's definitely worth it for a consistently excellent cup of coffee ☕
Le café est bon mais pour avoir travailler tout ma vie dans le service je peux dire qui a grande place a l'amelioration, les barista repondent au clients tard apres leur arrivée & le font sur un ton qui donne l'impression qu'ils s'en « calissent » ou comme si on rentrais dans leur maison. J'y vais souvent pour travailler, les bancs sont grandement inconfortables & la plupart des table sont basse ce qui conclut a un mal de dos apres min 30 minutes. Bref, le service devrais être beaucoup mieux, je remarque que je ne suis pas le seul avis qui en parle aussi...
I've been coming here for a couple of years now & need to say it's really starting to go downhill. The tables are often dirty, the service is often slow, the food menu is unreliable, & a lot of the tables & chairs are falling apart to the point of being hard to use. I miss the way this cafe used to be. On top of all this, they haven't made the very simple modification of a handrail on the stairs at the front door to help with accessibility.
Je recommande sincèrement ce café ! Leur Moka est absolument divin! Bien que le service soit souvent lent, j'adore venir me poser dans ce café. C'est idéal pour travailler ou juste venir discuter entre amis. Bonne adresse dans le Mile End.
Petit cappuccino & un croissant pour 10 $. Le café était amer & le croissant d'au moins la veille. L'intérieur est sympa, de style industriel classique hipster. Pour un bon café, ce qui est au final le plus important, j'irai ailleurs la prochaine fois.

Super café avec ambiance chaleureuse. Parfait pour travailler ou simplement pour se relaxer en buvant un bon café. Wifi gratuit à disposition. Toujours aussi satisfait à chaque fois que j'y retourne.
Alors... qu'est-ce qu'un LDN fog? Je présume, un autre mystère des cafés'third wave'. Le caissier n'a pas su me répondre. Où trouver un simple café de nos jours?
Café très sympa, proche du parc Jarry. Attention, si vous venez avec votre chien vous ne pourrez pas rester à l’intérieur! Nous avons acheté également des grains de café & ils étaient bons.
