On s'attend à plus lorsqu'on choisit Ricardo!! Cuisine très correcte sans plus! La gaufre était mince & sec, le poulet ok! Pas beaucoup de choix, pour un brunch du dimanche!! Déçu!
Endroit parfait pour aller bruncher à Laval avant une séance de magasinage! Très kid friendly, service impeccable, possibilité d'y aller en petit ou grand groupe. La boutique adjacente est également très bien !
Première visite & non la dernière notre hôte nous reçu d'une façon amicale & chaleureuse nous a proposer une boisson chaude du a la température extérieure .
Nous étions quatre & avons été très bien accompagné durant le service il a porté une attention a nos demandes

I've always loved ricardo's online recipes, so when I finally decided to come see his restaurants I was expecting something good.
First, the waitress never came to see us so an other waitress seing us unattended came to take our order.
I asked about the croque madame & was told it was a very consistent meal with a sandwich & salad on the side.
A croque madame is by definition a croque monsieur with an egg on top.
When I received my plate all I got was a toast with some bechamel on top & some bacon & the plate was full of salad you couldn't even see the small toast, I was very surprised as it just felt like a ceasar salad & not actually a croque madame.
At the end the waitress said that thats how a croque madame has always been made ? So the menu was very misleading & for the price, having a single toast & a plate full of salad was a bit of a stretch. What's even funnier is that on ricardo's website, it shows what a croque madame actually is, & it's very far from what they served me. I hope they'll change their menu to better fit what they actually serve.
Je mange au restaurant au moins trois fois par semaine & c'était ma première visite au Café Ricardo. Malheureusement, j'ai été très déçue.
Je comprends que les prix ont augmenté partout, mais dans mon cas, le rapport qualité-prix n'était tout simplement pas au rendez-vous. J'ai commandé le gravlax de saumon à 26 $ (avant taxes & pourboire) & j'ai été surprise par la portion : un seul oeuf poché, environ un quart de petite pomme de terre & deux très petites tranches de saumon.
La présentation était belle, mais ça ne compense pas une assiette aussi peu généreuse pour ce prix. Je ne recommande pas. Allez à la Bête à pain à la place, similaire niveau décor, meilleur au gout, quantité raisonnable.
🍳🥚We had an absolutely fantastic brunch at Ricardo in Laval. The food was delicious, incredibly fresh, & full of exciting flavors. The dishes felt creative & different from the usual brunch options, & every plate we ordered was outstanding. The portions were generous & the prices were very reasonable for the quality.
A special thank you to Arianne, who was amazing. She was extremely helpful, knew the menu inside out, & made wonderful recommendations. Her service made the whole experience even better.
The atmosphere is warm & inviting, everything was very clean (including the bathrooms), & the overall experience was excellent from start to finish.
Highly recommended. We already can't wait to come back. If you're planning to visit on the weekend, I definitely recommend making a reservation.
My new go to in terms of Birthday cakes! The prices are very fair for the size & quality. Unlike many of the pretty cakes out there that are just plain sugar bombs, these are packed with flavour. Totally worth the 40?minute drive for me.
