Café Restaurant Nab is described as a warm, family run Persian restaurant with a truly authentic feel, where generous portions, reasonable prices, and thoughtful hospitality create a homey dining experience. Reviewers repeatedly praise the kebabs, especially koobideh and kebab torsh, the kaleh pacheh, ghormeh sabzi, and saffron rice with tahdig for their depth of flavor and careful preparation, with the rice and tahdig often highlighted as standouts. The atmosphere is consistently described as cozy and inviting, with tasteful Persian decor and occasional live traditional music, while the staff are noted for being friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food is praised for freshness and high quality ingredients, and many say the dishes taste homemade and reflect real Persian cooking. A few comments mention occasional delays or service hiccups in busy times, but the overall impression is that Café Restaurant Nab is among the best Persian places in the city, great for family meals, groups, or romantic nights, and that many guests plan to return with friends and family to try more dishes.
I have recently moved from North Vancouver to Montreal. Having one of the largest persian diaspora, North Vancouver has set the bar high!Anyways, I ordered through UberEats, & I am glad I did! I guess Nab will be my go to place for Iranian dishes!

The lamb shank was really well-cooked & flavourful, I really loved the saffron rice with zereshk on the side of the rice. The staff were polite & attentive, which made for a pleasant experience.

Excellent food! Such top tier quality using fresh ingredients! Portions are large & food was so flavourful. I've tried many persian restaurants & this is the best I've tried so far! I'll be making the trek from ottawa, often!
I recently visited this restaurant in Montreal & felt like I was back home at a'mehmooni.' The shishlik kebab was amazing, & the ghormeh sabzi was incredibly tender & delicious. We also tried the lamb shank, which was the closest thing to'zir berenji' we've had since our days in Lorestan, Iran. They even offered complimentary loose tea & carrot cake, & a bowl of soup on the house, which was a lovely touch. A wonderful experience all around!

Absolutely love this restaurant. Been a few times over the years. Everything is so good & the owners are always friendly. Plus they have my favorite Iranian dessert, falooda, which I can't find in other restos in the city.
I have ordered kale pacheh & halim to take out, the first one was good but halim was totally ordinary. Then next time we go there as dine in, the only reason which I give two stars is the waitress who was a nice lady with a smile on her face otherwise the food was obviously stale, the chicken sous had a bad smell so that my wife barely eat the food, the environment was depressing the saloon was dime & also they played very old-fashion music that made you cry! Finally we found an ant on the dining table!
