Review Summary

Café Ocean Bar comes across in reviews as a welcoming, lively spot with good to excellent food, impeccable service, and a warm, high-energy vibe that lasts late into the night, with the kitchen open late. Clean spaces, friendly staff, and a social atmosphere with regulars who seem to know the routine are highlighted, as is the bar scene and the option to watch sports while enjoying drinks. The Latin nights with a DJ are a recurrent draw, offering a mix of bachata, salsa, merengue and kizomba, though some note the dance floor is small and tends to fill up, making it tricky for larger groups or beginners. A few guests point out that the DJ can lean on familiar tunes and pace or mix tracks in ways that feel repetitive over time. Overall, prices are described as reasonable, parking is plentiful, and the cuisine and service are consistently praised, making Café Ocean Bar feel like a dependable go-to for a fun night out, especially for dancing and socializing.

Latine night, with dj. The place is small. Dance floor allows 15 couples at most. But even 8 couples would take all the dance floor.

People seem to know each other here. They are regular clients . Probably from the same local dancing school. Last time i was there the dj was playing alot of bachata, maybe 55% bachata , 44% salsa, 1% merengue, 0% kizomba.

Age range from 40-60. Some in their 20-30 but the core was pretty much 40-60.

Dancing skill, same as else where. Most couples were doing bachata sensual moves even rapid timing. I,d say this place is Intermediary to advance level. I didn,t see any pro or any beginer.
As for salsa, same thing, they were all doing slingshots, double turns flick, magic hand, guapacha , around the world, block, head roll, dip ,. & Here they dance on 1.
People also seem friendly.

Cover is free, but the waitress will pressure you to order something to drink. Nearly $28 for two beers.

There's a large parking in the back. Allowing roughly 50 vehicles or so.

I personally won,t come back. Dance floor was too small.
