J'y allais pour boire un thé matcha mais ce n'est pas du matcha qu'on m'a servi mais du sucre au matcha. Il n'y a pas de possibilité d'avoir du matcha non sucré, confirmé par la gentille serveuse. J'ai trouvé ce breuvage imbuvable. On peut y acheter un sac de 1 kg de ce produit & je peux confirmer que le 1er produit dans la liste des ingrédients est bien du sucre. Plus jamais je vais commander du matcha dans ce café. Pour l'ambiance & le service, c'était impeccable.
J'avais peut-être trop d'attente en venant prendre mon chocolat chaud dans un café! Je ne dit pas qu'il n'était pas bon mais je l'ai trouver ordinaire!

It's a nice shop with beautiful decor. However, my boyfriend likes to visit for pecan pie, & they are out of it 75% of the time. Their food prices are also comparable to a restaurant with table service... I realize that prices have risen everywhere, but they seem quite exaggerated.
Also, they do not have an English version of their website. Considering the push to buy Canadian with the tariff wars with the US, as an anglophone, I would love to be able to suggest Cafe Morgane's website to friends out west, but the company doesn't seem to be interested in expanding their customer base, which seems short-sighted.

Un vrai coup de coeur rempli de valeur sentimentale pour moi. Chaque passage dans la région s'accompagne forcément d'un arrêt au Café Morgane. La terrasse extérieure sur la 5e Avenue, avec ses tables & parasols, permet de profiter pleinement de l'ambiance vivante de Shawinigan. À l'intérieur, le décor est charmant, chaleureux, spacieux & apaisant : un endroit où l'on se sent bien dès qu'on y entre. Le café est toujours délicieux, peu importe la variété choisie, & les petites bouchées sont parfaites pour accompagner le tout. Un lieu réconfortant que je recommande sans hésiter!

Une chaîne de café que je ne connaissais pas ; celui de shawinigan est grand, avec des tables, fauteuils, canapés, de quoi s'installer confortablement seul ou en groupe, avec une superbe décoration, telle qu'on le voit rarement dans une chaîne de restauration : viennoiseries & pâtisseries classiques, mais très bonnes. Le personnel est agréable. Idéal pour un petit déjeuner ou un café.
