Cafe Milano est perçu comme un endroit où le service est excellent, la nourriture de grande qualité et à prix raisonnable, le café y est apprécié et l'ambiance chaleureuse en fait un lieu idéal pour travailler ou se détendre; ouvert tard et plein d énergie, il peut toutefois devenir très fréquenté et bruyant les week-ends, avec des périodes où le service paraît plus rapide que chaleureux selon les passages; les sandwiches sont savoureux et bien préparés, les desserts variés et délicieux comme cannolis, tiramisu et glace à la pistache, et l'offre de pâtisseries est largement appréciée; certains visiteurs parlent d'une excellente ambiance et d'un accueil globalement sympathique, d'autres signalent une expérience au comptoir moins agréable et des problèmes de stationnement ou d'attente; dans l'ensemble, la constance de la qualité, la rapidité du service et l'esprit européen du lieu en font une adresse à connaître, idéale pour un café, un repas rapide ou une pause en groupe.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Great vibe. Tons of parking. We love coming here. The coffee & desserts are amazing. The sandwiches also did not disappoint. We'll be back ☺?
It's an ok place. Nothing to explain the popularity of it, especially why you see some people going "dressed up" on a Saturday night at a coffee place... but that's their way, fine. I just have a hard time grasping price over quality of food/drinks. It's nothing spectacular, but it beats Timmy's if you want some quick food & return to work
It was so good! I really enjoyed my coffee with the Bilyes, & there's some new news: they accept credit cards now! It's my favorite place in Laval for food & drinks :D enjoy guys
Sandwiches definitely not good Spicy without any info about it, not a good taste either, sandwich bread too simple & boring Coffee normal Maybe trying other things here would be ok? Anyway don't recommend the sandwiches AT ALL
We were visiting Montreal for an engineering meeting. Based on the number of reviews & stars, we decided to go there after dinner for coffee & dessert 🍨. The experience was not good from the beginning to the end. 1. It's very noisy & the tables are very close to each other. 2. When the visa machine did not work for the first time, I got confused & stressed & forgot to leave a tip. Oh my God, the bad & elongated look on his eyes & follow-up talk from the casher left me speechless. 3. To receive the order, the waitress walks between the tables & says the customrs name to deliver the order. This interrupted our chat almost with every yelling 😂 or couple of minutes. 3. When we raised the concern with the manager/supervisor, he was rude & rude at every turn. We left & never will be back to this cafe. This is a monthly meeting & they lost us for good.
The coffees & desserts are great. The food is nothing special. I have tried all the subs. The bread they use seems low quality & lacks proper texture or flavour. The ingredients are sparse. I never enjoyed their subs. Much better options out there. This business does well because of regular clients that go there to hang out, enjoy a coffee, a nice dessert, or tolerate below average food. It's a cool hangout.

However, the ordering process could use some refinement; after placing your order at the counter, the staff walks around calling out names to locate customers, which can feel a bit disorganized. The environment might be a bit noisy for some; it's an ideal spot for sports enthusiasts with televisions strategically placed around the venue, adding to the energetic vibe. The coffee & food are both of good quality, making it a worthwhile visit for a casual outing.
Went for lunch today, ordering process took a while, I guess it was noisy. I was with 2 friends, we ordered our sandwiches, fries & they ordered coffee & desserts. We sat outside in the terrace. Within 5 minutes my friends' coffee & desserts arrived, odd? Within 15 minutes our sandwiches & drinks arrived, but no fries - we mentioned it to the server who said "no problem, coming soon" . We waited close to 20 minutes & asked another server for the fries (our sandwiches were eaten), server went inside, then back to us & said we didn't pay for them, but they will be out soon & we would need to pay inside. We waited another 15 minutes & my friend went inside to ask why we were waiting - seems my friend had to pay before being served the fries. Bottom line, the food was very good, service was friendly, but they seem to be a little dis-organized - Our 30 minute lunch break turned into over an hour. BTW, we arrived near 1:30 PM. Yes, I will go back, but I will be very specific when ordering! LOL. :)
