La nourriture était bonne & le menu offrait beaucoup de choix. Les serveuses ont été très aimables, polies & professionnelles, & nous avons beaucoup apprécié leur service.
Malheureusement, notre expérience a été complètement gâchée par le propriétaire - ou du moins par la personne qui se présentait comme telle. Comme je voulais sortir quelques minutes pour fumer avec la pina colada que j'avais payée en supplément, on m'a informée que je ne pouvais pas sortir avec le verre du restaurant.
J'ai donc demandé, très poliment, s'il était possible de me verser la boisson dans un verre en plastique, puisque j'avais l'intention de revenir immédiatement à ma table. Au lieu de recevoir une réponse courtoise, cette personne s'est adressée à moi d'une manière impolie, agressive, non professionnelle & totalement inacceptable.
Je comprends qu'un établissement puisse avoir des règles, & je les respecte. Toutefois, rien ne justifie le manque de respect envers un client qui pose une simple question de façon polie.
Compte tenu de cette expérience, je ne peux malheureusement pas recommander cet établissement. C'était notre première visite, & ce sera certainement la dernière.
Nourriture simple mais agréable, les desserts comme a l'habitude ne sont pas très bon , sauf pour un nouveau stand que jai découvert les crepe flambé , c'était vraiment bon , les meuilleur selon mon garçon , la madame super gentille , merci a elle :)
I m visiting from New York & friend of my refer me this buffet. I didn't regret come in there. It's my best buffet in Canada. I can't wait to come back again. The quality of food is exceptional. Highly recommend to anyone who love quality in quantity.
At the buffet when they were taking our leftover plates, they dropped the nuggets on the floor & for some reason the poutine was in a tiny bowl instead of a big tray & I feel like I just got food poisoning when I got home cuz I had diarrhea after that.
Buffet des Continents has something for everyone. Unlike many other buffets, you'll find dishes from different cuisines & flavors, so there's plenty to choose from no matter your taste. It can get pretty noisy, but if you can get a table upstairs, it's much quieter than the main floor. I also highly recommend the pancakes🥞 , they're definitely worth trying! It's a bit pricey, so I wouldn't go all the time, but it's a great place for a celebration or an occasional outing because it's different from most buffets. The only bad things I have to say is that sometimes, during the holidays or if you get there at busy hours like dinner/lunch time, the lines can get pretty long. I recommend trying to taste a little of everything.
