Review Summary

Bruno Sport Bar is widely regarded as a premier destination in Montreal for sports enthusiasts, known for its electric atmosphere, attentive service, and extensive screen coverage that ensures every game is visible. Patrons appreciate the welcoming environment and the variety of quick bites like grilled cheese and paninis, though some note the menu is limited and prices can be on the higher side. While the venue is frequently crowded during major events and occasionally experiences challenges with seating or service speed, the overall consensus highlights it as a lively, authentic local gem where visitors often feel right at home.

Best spot in town to watch any sporting event. They are extremely well organized & the service is impeccable. Eqip certified! Go Habs Go!

Called in to ask a harmless question politely, received a sassy response.

I was told about this sports bar by a friend & it sounded like a great local spot to watch one of the hockey games during the playoffs. I called a week before the game to see if a small table for 2 people was available - this is what happened:

1. I tried calling about 10-20 times at different times of the day, & most of the time nobody picked up the phone.
2. When somebody finally picked up & I asked about reservations, they told me to message the bar via their Instagram channel. I found this a bit strange but gave it a try. When I did not hear back after a while, I sent a follow-up message.
3. When I finally called again after not hearing back on Instagram, a different person picked up. I asked them if it was possible to make a reservation, & they told me in a semi-unfriendly way that everything was full. They did not even try asking me what date & time - why would you automatically assume that I wanted to reserve at a time when the bar is busy?

So disappointed by the customer service at this bar. I totally get it if there's no space, but I would have appreciated if the communication was better.

I always go to BSB , now during the playoffs there is no room - I called to reserve & they tell me they don't take reservations - I get there yesterday 2 hours before the game & the employee blocks the doorway as usual saying they are full & seats reserved - so I told him that I called in many times & they said they don't do reservations - he replies that they do during playoffs.... maybe keep the terasse available for paying customers instead of people buying fruits next door & eating them on the terasse?

Fun bar for game night! The vibes is on point! 3 shots for $10, pitcher of Sapporo is $29 & they have three types of fast food sandwiches with no sides. Italiano, Jumbo hotdog or Ham & cheese sandwich. The Italiano was tasty. Nothing else but popcorn when they make some. Run by Bruno himself & his nephew does the bouncing at the door on busy night. It does fill up fast, so make reservations! Super awesome lively atmosphere!

A great spot for sports, food, & atmosphere. The owner (Bruno), was very accommodating. If your preferred sport isn't playing on one of the many tubes. Bruno will try to get it on & seat you in front of. That TV. 👍. I went on my own, sat at the bar, & made a couple friends. Cheers
