A must-stop in Shawinigan! Sampled their session & double IPAs-both were top-notch. My partner had the beef tartare, & I went with the pub burger-both dishes were delicious & well-prepared. The staff was awesome-friendly, fast, & welcoming. Great vibes, great food, great beer. Highly recommended!

Un arrêt incontournable à Shawinigan! J'ai goûté leur IPA session & double - excellentes toutes les deux. Mon/ma partenaire a pris le tartare de boeuf, & moi le burger du pub - savoureux & bien exécutés. Le personnel était génial - accueillant, rapide & sympathique. Super ambiance, excellente bouffe & bière artisanale de qualité. Fortement recommandé!

Arrêt au pub comme conseillé dans le guide du Routard. Large choix de bières à la pression, j'ai testé celle au concombre qui était très bonne :) Puis salade César & burger, très bien servis & cuisinés ! Le seul bémol c'est le bruit 😱 incroyable d'atteindre un tel niveau sonore dans la salle 😅 on a du mal à s'entendre parler. Service au top par contre :)

Jai mangé l'assiette de burger il etais délicieux ❤️ parcontre côté portion pour pour le tataki de boeuf etais si peu ! Nous aurions apprécier que les plats soit mieux détaillé , exemple entré ou plat principal sur le ardoise du restaurant! Merci d'informer votre personnel quel menu est quoi ! Mais jai quand meme apprécié ❤️

Bon, je ne ferai pas comme les gens frustrés & donner 1 étoile parce que j'ai passé une soirée ordinaire. Je vais essayer de décortiquer notre expérience.

J'avais des attentes raisonnables envers le Trou du Diable. Pour être franc, l'atmosphère est cool, l'emplacement est superbe, si vous chercher un endroit à Shawinigan pour prendre un verre, c'est la place.

Par contre, la bouffe... J'ai commandé le burger. Y'as-tu de quoi de plus safe qu'un burger dans ce genre de restaurant? Bin celui-là se classe au sommet dans mon top 3 des "burgers of shame". Pain sec, boulette de viande fade, sauce "TDD" ordinaire. Bref, un cauchemar!

Ha oui, j'ai pris l'extra poutine. Très petite portion & les frites goûte un peu acre. Mauvais choix de pomme de terre, peut-être?

Ma blonde par contre a aimé le boudin, je dois le souligner.

Pour terminer, le service est lent. J'ai beau être indulgent connaissant la pénurie de staff qui sévit partout, mais 1h d'attente après la prise de commande, c'est un peu trop.
