This was my second time to this restaurant, the 1st was awesome, this time went on April 18th. The place was packed full... with that said. It was a family party, I ordered new york 12 oz steak medium rare, with mash potatoes & mushrooms.... from sit down at 6pm to eating was at 7:40 ish with 2 waitresses it took maybe an hour before we got some bread to hold us over. Thet kept apologizingfor it was busy..... my steak was warm/cold & dry used the juice from the mushrooms & poss more on the rare, it looked like it had been waiting for 30 mins before it was brought to me, mash potatoes & mushrooms cold. I ate it yes, why because I didn't want to wait another 30 mins & be the only one eating & i didn't want to be that person. I will probably not return to this restaurant. The food i gave 2 star because I ate it.... the service 3 star cause I can understand the busy & well 5 for the atmosphere because I was with family. But if it was just on the food.... well not again....we left it was almost 9pm the bill over $170, I still gave the tip, cause that wouldn't have been fair to the 2 waitresses

Le service était excellent la nourriture du début à la fin tiède presque température pièce franchement moins que par le steak haché 8 onces arrive à 4 onces dans l'assiette pas cuit à la minute sec & tiède la salade de chou plus chaude que froide frites tiède pomme de terre au four vieille & très sèche en bref réputation surfaite & vraiment average
I really, really like this place. We have never been let down. Great steak & good beer. Last night, my wife & I took my visiting daughter to Daniel Lapointe's. My daughter & I had the Bavette de boeuf marineé, while my wife had the Contre-filet coupe New York. Bother were very good. What topped it off thought was our server, Rebecca. She made us feel sovery welcome & friendly fast service & great explanation of the menu items. She was amazing. Next time, we will ask for Rebecca's table.

Cette fois, nous avions réservé car c'était un samedi soir de sport télé. Il y en avait pour tous les goûts sur les multiples écrans installés partout. L'ambiance était joyeuse & entrainante. Nous y allions pour souligner un anniversaire au souper. La formule du resto sur plusieurs niveaux est sensas pour les clients. Ça donne un effet d'intimité intéressant. J'imagine aisément par contre que le staff est fatigué à la fin de la journée. Pour nous, cet aspect de leur travail ne parait pas. Ils sont tous tout sourire, accueillants & attentifs. On s'y sent bienvenus & ça, ça mérite l'expérience.
Nous avons mangé terre & mer ( steak ( filet mignon boeuf, contre-filet boeuf, tomahawk de porc) & crevettes) Parmi les accompagnements, je vous suggère les champignons ( qui m'ont semblés être ici, des portobellos poêlés) tout y était goûteux & délicieux.
Encore un sans faute pour la Brasserie. Chapeau au staff & au Chef. C'était plein & tout arrive chaud, préparé sur mesure pour vous.

Je suis très difficile sur la cuisson des steaks & leur qualité en restaurant mais chez Daniel Lapointe, je suis toujours satisfait!
Rapport qualité-prix & quantité, c'est imbattable!
L'ambiance est superbe & le staff travaille vraiment bien!
Le seul bémol que j'aurais à mettre est que la dernière fois, j'ai pris deux Bloody Ceasar's dont j'ai demandé de remplacer la vodka par du rhum & on m'a chargé un extra de 8$… sur le premier verre & le deuxième n'avait pas de rhum mais de la vodka…
Sinon, tout était parfait!
Nous nous retrouvons entre amis(ies) plusieurs fois par années chez Daniel Lapointe nous n'avons jamais été déçu du service reçu ni de la qualité de la nourriture.. (la seule déception c'est qu'il ai enlevé un item du menu que l'ont prenait à chaque visite.. Le fameux steak pétillant.. Mais bon le reste du menu est tout aussi bon 😋)
Tres bon restau. Je recommande. Pour les steaks , ils doivent revoir leur cuisson. D'ici la, je vous suggere de leur commander un bleu pour esperer un saignant. Pour vous le Chef : Bleu : 30 secondes à 1 minute à feu très vif, un aller-retour. Saignant : 30 secondes à feu très vif + 1 minute à 1'30 minute à feu vif. A point : 30 secondes à feu très vif + 2'30 minutes à feu moyen. Bien cuit : 30 secondes à feu très vif + 3 minutes à feu doux.
j'adore cette endroit & le personnelle est toujours courtois c'est très agréable je le recommande à tous si tu veux des fruits de mer ou un bon steak & surtout les sortes de crevettes vraiment excellent.
