Freshness is not part of the game no more (not like 20 years ago). Back in the days it was fresh made on demand. Now it's insanely expensive & never fresh. For the price you pay it should be baked on the spot just as back in the days.

My recent visit, manouche were nicely fresh (all 6 of them). I came in very early, counters were all empty. I had to ask for the manouche, the lady picked them out the back kitchen. Is just sad to see no improvement. Still serving cold knafe heated up without the ka'ak bread. I rate this place in the lowest tier of all arab pastry in town. Lower than that they went bankrupt already

Stopped by for a quick lunch, not only the food was great & at a great price, but the ladies working the food counters were amazing. People complaining about prices probably never traveled outside of Quebec as this was some of the best priced lunch I've had.

After reading a few other reviews, the staff of this place seems to be a common theme for poor opinions on politeness & sketchy hygiene.

I used to come here ALL the time starting in 1995 (the old location down the street) because I liked their little cheese pitas. As time has worn-on though, they've kept climbing in price to now being $5.50 each, which is just nuts. I barely go anymore but I had a craving today so I bought a bag of 6 for $24 (!!!) & wow, the cashier was so rude, it was almost funny.

After over 30 years, today was the last time I'll ever step foot in this place.
