C'était ma première visite dans ce restaurant & j'ai été agréablement surpris du début à la fin. Le décor est superbe, l'ambiance chaleureuse, le service impeccable. Quant aux plats… un vrai délice. Tout était absolument parfait. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir. Je vous le recommande vivement.
Ça fait 15 ans que j'habite sur la Rive-Sud de Montréal & c'est de loin l'un des meilleurs restaurants où j'ai mangé. Nous avons pris la soupe du jour (chou-fleur), la soupe aux tripes, la saucisse choucroute, le canard, le poulet au cari, le boeuf braisé & du dessert. Tout était absolument délicieux. L'ambiance est chaleureuse, la décoration adorable & notre hôtesse était une perle. 10/10, nous allons y retourner!
J'ai connu la Tchécoslovaquie des années 80 & ça m'a fait plaisir de découvrir ce resto, dont les montréalais ignorent l'existence. Le décor est typique de l'Europe centrale, les proprios sont affables, la cuisine typique, savoureuse & nourrissante à la fois. Je n'ai pas essayé les vins car c'était le midi. Malgré la distance, j'y retournerai.
Petit restaurant de quartier très pittoresque. Cuisine maison d'origine tchécoslovaque réconfortante. Cela fait plusieurs fois que je viens au restaurant Bohemia, aussi bien pour m'attabler que pour emporter (take out) & je n'ai jamais été déçu! Aujourd'hui, le chef propriétaire m'a servi un boeuf braisé à la crème accompagné de betteraves marinées & de choux rouge mariné. Une excellente soupe aux légumes ainsi qu'une pointe de tarte à la framboise accompagnaient le repas principal. Tout était excellent & je me suis régalé! Du vrai comfort food comme on l'aime! Seul petit bémol: j'aurais souhaité plus de boeuf braisé à la crème & moins de pommes de terres sautées! Lors de visites ultérieures j'ai commandé le filet de sole (qui est en fait une sole meunière) que j'ai beaucoup apprécié, & comme dessert, le strudel aux pommes qui fond littéralement dans la bouche! La décoration est surchargée d'artefacts de toutes sortes & confère à ce petit restaurant un charme indéniable.
Excellente cuisine tcheque qui semble être figée dans le temps. Cuisine réconfortante, maison, mijotée. Décor vintage typique & il est d'une évidence que tout est fait maison dans les règles de l'art. Le seul problème est qu'ils ne sont jamais ouverts le soir. Je le recommande fortement

With over three decades of family-run tradition, Marta ensures each guest feels cared for, while Milos, the talented chef, crafts each dish from scratch with meticulous care (psst... He loves making desserts - make sure to try some). The warm & friendly service adds to the overall charm. Every aspect, from the authentic cuisine to the meticulously curated decor & ambiance, is executed flawlessly. The restaurant boasts an impressive selection of European beers, particularly Czech varieties. Among the highlights of my dining experience was the ham-wrapped potato salad, a delightful off-menu recommendation that exceeded expectations. The set menu offers exceptional value for money. The Tripe soup left a lasting impression with its rich flavor profile, while the cauliflower soup was equally delightful. The rabbit dish was a rare find & definitely worth indulging in, as was the goulash & duck if available. The lamb dish is a definite must-try. Save room for dessert, as Milos's creations are nothing short of spectacular. Whether it's the fresh Raspberry Tart or any other fresh fruit variation, each bite is a culinary delight. & let's not forget the Bohemia pancakes, featuring a luscious yogurt filling, fresh fruits, & a decadent chocolate drizzle. Lovely homey restaurant, lovingly decorated. Superb food & very friendly service. Warm hearty soup, well dressed & end filling main with dessert & tea to boot!!
