We got caught in a downpour & ran into the restaurant to wait it out the rain with a glass of wine. Charles & Nico behind the bar were fantastic, friendly & entertaining. We didn't end up ordering food but everything we saw looked delicious.

What a great experience we had at what is truly a fabulous restaurant! Everything from the food, to the service, to the ambiance was absolutely splendid. Every dish was brilliantly prepared & the selection of wines was impressive. Well done Boca Di Lupo!

Première fois que j'allais là ce soir. Je ne dirais pas que c'était mauvais mais ce n'était pas mon genre de cuisine dans l'ensemble. C'était bien présenté dans l'assiette. Pour le service, c'était vraiment de la très haute qualité. Tout le monde a été super sympathique, attentionné & professionnel : l'hôtesse, le bussboy, la serveuse & le gérant. C'est le genre de service qui vous donne envie d'y retourner à tous les jours. J'ai adoré ça, c'était une super belle expérience. Merci à Kamilio (désolé si je l'ai mal écrit) & à l'équipe!

2/5 - Deeply uncomfortable & disappointing end to the night

I almost feel bad leaving a 2-star review, but I left this restaurant feeling incredibly unsettled. To be completely fair, the actual service wasn't bad at all. Our server was genuinely nice, & the food arrived in good time & tasted fine.
The issue started when the bill came out to around $50. I chose not to tip. There was nothing explicitly wrong with the service-in fact, when our server asked if everything was okay, I honestly told her yes. But tipping is optional, & I simply didn't feel like it this time.
What happened next was just mortifying. A man-presumably the manager or supervisor-marched over to our table to confront me (still very polite) & ask why I didn't tip. When I asked him if tipping was mandatory, he replied,'No, but the service workers are paid below minimum wage & they rely on tips for their normal wages.'
I told him I was sorry to hear that, but I still didn't want to tip.
Honestly, it is profoundly disappointing that a restaurant manager would openly guilt-trip a customer twice over a $5 tip. If my $5 is absolutely critical for your staff to pay their bills, then you are not paying your people enough. Shaming customers by admitting you'pay them peanuts' & rely on us to make up their normal wages is an incredibly bad look for this establishment.

I felt awful for the staff, but confronting guests for $5 is completely unacceptable. It completely ruined what should have been a nice evening. I won't be coming back to a place that treats both its staff & its patrons this way.

Des pâtes en suggestion qui furent un réel délice. Entre les pâtes faites maison, al dente & la sauce au homard fabuleuse, je me suis régalé. Je recommande vivement pour les amateurs de fruits de mer. Très bon service & jolie atmosphère.
