Unfortunately, the experience this time was not good. As always, the restaurant is loud, but if you have gone before, you expect it. But this time, like last time, the food which used to be great is quite ordinary, especially for the price. $130 for a fish a few shrimps, I would not call a lobster tale what was in the plate & the meat which normally is outstanding, this time the bavette was tough & not well marinated. The burger no taste even with the foie gras. No, this time was not up to standard. We will try it one more time & we will see. It is a chance that it is bring your own wine. Otherwise, it would have left a sour taste last night.
Si vous cherchez un restaurant où on est jamais déçu de la qualité des repas & que vous voulez regulierement, Bistrot Louis IV est est une valeure sûre!
Un beau souper célébration à 5 où nous avons partagé entrées & côte de boeuf & dessert grâce à l'extraordinaire équipe du restaurant. Ce fut très apprécié!

Malheureusement, soirée bien bien ordinaire. Le resto est vraiment mignon. En principe l'ambiance devrait être formidable. Mais en raison d'une musique (trop forte) de type'CHOM FM' (The doors, Led Zepplin etc...), notre soirée a été gâchée. C'est la dernière musique que l'on s'attends dans un pareil resto.... Il ne s'agit pas d'une brasserie mais bien, un resto avec une carte dispendieuse où les gens vont pour se faire plaisir, dans le calme & bien manger. Dommage, nous n'y retournerons pas. D'autant que quand nous en avons parlé à la serveuse, elle a semblée bien surprise & nous a mentionné que les clients ADORAIENT cette musique & même qu'ils en faisaient la demande (yeah right)
Bel accueil. Julie nous a servi avec classe & est venu plusieurs fois verifier qu'il nous manquait rien. Service impeccable. Equipe agréable. La nourriture est haut de gamme. Il y a un menus hors menu incroyable. Nous avons très bien mangé, c'était excellent. Nous avons passé une belle soirée. Merci!
Un excellent restaurant, nous y allons régulièrement, pour y trouver des plats extraordinaires.
Chaque fois que nous pouvons nous y retournons & y amenons nos amis français ainsi que nos familles.
Les plats sont dignes de ceux que nous avons pu déguster en France, notre pays d origine.
Le foie gras est sublime, les viandes parfaites & des desserts très raffinés.
Nous venons d y fêter la anniversaire de mon beau père, une belle table de 6 servi parfaitement avec sympathie & professionnalisme.
Nous avons encore une fois passé un excellent moment.

Quelle belle découverte ! Un accueil des plus sympathique, une ambiance charmante, un menu attrayant auquel s'ajoutent d'autres plats savoureux expliqués par notre serveur Louis Charles qui nous a offert un service exceptionnel pour notre soirée. Bref, nous avons grandement apprécié notre aventure à ce restaurant. Nous nous sommes régalés des entrées aux desserts. Nous le recommandons fortement & il est certain que nous y retournerons.
What a surprising great experience we had yesterday evening. We made a reservation & quickly showed are table upstairs where Daphnée guided us to the table. She & her team made sure that we will enjoy the service & food. We started with an entree. We could bring our own wine. Every dish was presented with a smile & tasted incredible. After our main dish we finished it with dessert. The parking around the restaurant makes it easy to visit the bistro. We wanted to thank Daphnée & her team for a wonderful evening.
We've been here a few times but it was the first time with our baby. It was evening & near her bedtime so she was fussy, but everyone was so sweet. Even the guests were playing with her. The food was amazing & our 11 month old couldn't get enough of the escargot, bone marrow, & seared fois gras. Hands down best bring your own bottle in the South Shore. Great ambiance, service, & food. Can't wait to go back!
