Had an amazing dinner 🍽? at a Syrian restaurant Beroya in Laval. The ambience is typical traditional Syrian style with lively Syrian music.
We ordered appetizers & main course for our dinner.
Appetizers - Hommos (with Chickpeas dip with tahina & olive oil), Labneh with garlic 🧄(Homemade thick yogurt 🍦 , mint, garlic 🧄 & olive 🫒 oil), Abou Ghannouj (Mix of grilled eggplants 🍆, diced tomatoes 🍅, walnuts & green peppers 🫑), Rouleaux au sujuk (Seasoned minced meat with Syrian spices fried with pita 🫓 bread) & pickles
Main course - kebab Khach-Khach & a rice 🍚
The food was amazing, delicious & extremely heavy. But we loved it.
We were greeted by the bald 👨?🦲 owner (who is a bit shy in talking) & server: Sharbel
We loved the overall experience.
Thanks for serving authentic Syrian food. Merci beaucoup.
I had a pretty average experience at Beroya this time around. I visited a couple of years ago & remember the food being noticeably better in both quality & flavour, so my expectations were fairly high. Beroya is known for Syrian cuisine with an Aleppo-inspired focus, & the venue itself is spacious with a proper bar set-up, so it has the makings of a great night out, but the food just didn't hit the same on this visit.
Parking was available, which was a plus, but the interior is starting to feel tired & could really use a refresh. As for the meal, the knafeh, fattoush & eggplant kebab were disappointing, while the rest of what we tried was acceptable (nothing terrible, just not memorable). Overall, it wasn't a bad visit, just not as good as it used to be.
Nestled in the heart of Laval lies a culinary gem that never fails to impress-Beroya Restaurant. From the moment you step foot into this cozy eatery, you're transported on a sensory journey through the vibrant flavors of Lebanese & Syrian cuisine.
Recently, I had the pleasure of treating my twin daughters to dinner at Beroya, & from the onset, I knew it was going to be an exceptional experience. Having frequented this establishment before, I was already familiar with the high standard of their fare, but this visit surpassed all expectations.
Our meal commenced with an array of appetizers that set the tone for the culinary delight that followed. The tabouleh, a quintessential Levantine salad, transported me back to my childhood with its fresh, herbaceous flavors that mirrored those of my mother's recipe. Accompanying it was the hummus-a true test of authenticity-& I was delighted to find it surpassed my expectations, evoking memories of dinners enjoyed in Lebanon itself.
But the delights didn't stop there. We indulged in an assortment of mezze, including perfectly crispy fries, decadent cheese rolls, & an array of other tantalizing dishes that tantalized our taste buds & left us eager for more.
For our main course, we opted for the succulent kafta kabob & arayes, & we were not disappointed. The kabobs, bursting with juices & flavor, were grilled to perfection, showcasing the culinary mastery of the chefs at Beroya. Each bite was a symphony of taste, further enhancing our dining experience.
Yet, what truly sets Beroya apart is not only the outstanding quality of its cuisine but also the impeccable service & ambiance. From the warm welcome we received upon arrival to the attentive care of the staff throughout our meal, every detail was meticulously attended to, ensuring a memorable dining experience from start to finish.
As we savored our final bites & reluctantly bid farewell to Beroya, we couldn't help but reflect on an exceptional evening we had just experienced. If you find yourself in Laval & craving authentic Lebanese cuisine, do not hesitate to visit Beroya. With its tantalizing blend of Lebanese & Syrian flavors, it's a culinary journey that's not to be missed. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Had dinner here this evening with my wife. Amazing food - the best Syrian food that we've had since we lived in Damascus! Incredibly popular place - best reserve. Cocktails were also great. Thanks!
Absolutely outstanding in every way! From the moment you walk in, you're embraced by warmth, elegance, & the rich aroma of authentic Syrian cuisine. Every dish bursts with flavor - beautifully seasoned, perfectly cooked, & presented with care.
The service is exceptional - attentive without being intrusive, & genuinely proud of what they serve. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy & refined, making it ideal for both special occasions & casual nights out.
Beroya isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience - a celebration of taste, culture, & hospitality. A true gem in Laval. Highly recommended!
