Barbie's restaurant & bar in Brossard offers great tasting ribs and steak. They also serve up tasty smoked meat sandwiches. The items on the menu does not stop there, Barbies offers a wide array of items to please many palates. Week-end breakfast is served from 7:00am to 3:00pm.
Overall, Barbie's is described as a busy, family friendly restaurant with generous portions and solidly cooked fare ranging from burgers and ribs to seafood and breakfast options, a warm and lively ambiance, and attentive service that can vary with crowd size; the menu and daily specials are praised for value, while a few visits note slow service, a cold soup on one occasion, and occasional inconsistencies in quality, but the overall impression is positive and many diners return.
I ordered the half rack of barbecue ribs it was extremely good with fries. Service was fast & server was very nice as always. Had a good deal with membership card.
This was the most busy restaurant I've been to this year, definitely a favourite among locals & for good reason with the extensive menu, good food, & friendly service.

I recently visited this location for the first time, & unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. For a mid-range price point, the value proposition is simply not there.
?The Food
?Portion Sizes: There is noticeable'shrinkflation' occurring here. Paying approximately $23 per main dish feels excessive given the small serving sizes.
?Ingredient Quality: The quality of ingredients felt subpar. My'Greek Salad' arrived with only a single thin slice of feta cheese, & the desserts tasted noticeably cheap.
?The'Soup Tactic': The $3 chicken noodle soup felt like a budget filler rather than a quality'soup of the day,' a disappointing trend I've noticed lately.
?Service & Atmosphere
?Service: The service was lackluster; I had to repeat simple requests to our waiter multiple times before they were addressed.
?Environment: The atmosphere was quite cramped. Additionally, the smell of'free popcorn' permeated the entire room, leaving a heavy, greasy scent of butter throughout the meal.

?In this economy, everyone wants to ensure they are getting value for their hard-earned dollar. Based on the lack of quality control & the small portions, I cannot recommend this franchise. There are better options in the same price bracket that offer a much higher standard of food & service.

Company enjoyed their shrimp & chicken tenders meal. Rice was supposedly cooked & tasted like the best ever!!
Went for supper on either Sunday or Monday of March break. The atmosphere was nice, & the waitress as well. The actual plate I ordered was great although the lentils soup I was served was cold... Not warm, cold. I let the waitress know & she was very nice, apologized & offered to replace it. I didn't take another soup but I wanted the staff to know so they wouldn't serve cold soup to other clients. Other then that it was honestly good & price was right.
Bon repas, portion généreuse, servis chaud, & bon service, ambiance chaotique grâce à un groupe de fêtard pas trop éduqué qui ce croyais seul dans le restaurant, le gérant a fini par intervenir après beaucoup de temps & ça n'as pas vraiment changer grand choses, si non tous le reste était très bien !! Un cas isolé ?? Bénéfice du doute.
