We love Bar Le Record! Had the best time spinning here on a Saturday night with friends - an incredible party with dancing, great drinks, amazing hospitality in a space that is as storied as its founders, Montreal & the city's music history. Closed for private party, nice looking place, Crazy price for a vodka mixed with Soda. $13 . Change from a $20?...... a toonie, not 2 loonies, so I only had 1 drink for the 40 min I was there

Expérience vraiment décevante au Bar Le Record. Le service laissait sérieusement à désirer. La personne qui nous servait (apparemment le fils du propriétaire) avait une attitude étrange & peu professionnelle.

Les verres étaient servis brusquement, au point où ça débordait à chaque fois. Ça s'est produit à plusieurs reprises, ce qui montre un manque évident de soin. En plus, lorsqu'on commandait un drink précis, ce n'était pas respecté : il servait plutôt ce qu'il voulait, sans vraiment écouter le client.

Même au moment de payer, l'interaction était maladroite & inconfortable. On avait l'impression de déranger plutôt que d'être des clients.

Bref, une expérience vraiment désagréable du début à la fin. Il y a clairement un manque de professionnalisme au niveau du service. Dommage, parce que ça peut facilement gâcher une soirée.

Very cool little bar in a lesser-known part of town. Drinks (especially mocktails for those who don't drink alcohol) are good, well-made & reasonably-priced. The server / bartender was very efficient & friendly & managed to serve the entire place by themselves. We got there around 730pm on a Friday & no trouble finding a seat. They have a small menu, but we did not try the food.
