Un café qui se tient debout. CAFFETTIERA (une cafetière Moka en italien), situé dans le Mille carré doré de Montréal, est un bar italien inspiré des années 90. Le ‘‘ bar ’’, pour les italiens, est l’endroit où l’on va durant sa journée, pour prendre une pause. Notre espresso est torréfié en Italie et infusé avec des machines à piston Vittorio Arduini ainsi qu’avec les classiques Bialettis. A stand-up coffee place. Caffettiera (moka coffee pot in italian) is a 90’s inspired Italian bar located in Montreal’s Golden Square Mile. For Italians, the “bar” is where one goes to take a break from the day. Our espresso is roasted in Italy and brewed from shiny Vittorio Arduini Lever machines as well as classic Bialettis.

Excellent food & coffee. A great little place to go to in the morning or in the afternoon for happy hour when they serve beer & cocktails in addition to coffee. The service was very friendly.

Excellent café! Heu... je corrige "Bar Italiano". 😉 J'ai enfin retrouvé le goût du café comme à Rome, Venise & Florence. Lorsque l'on commande ristretto ils comprennent! Le croissant à la pistache est trop bon.

Amazing coffee, pastries & good service! They had milk options & prices around $4-5.50 per drink. A few sit down tables but it was very busy. I liked that it was a local cafe & it looked like the owners were interested in genuinely serving their customers :) Just be aware: THERE IS NO DECAF!

To all Italians: lower your expectations. This place is far away from offering a good italian coffee or pastries. Not sure what geen paste was in the "cornetto al pistacchio" but it surely had nothing to do with Italian pistacchio. The same is true for the cornetto.

We came here several times during our week in Montreal. The coffee is exactly what you get in Italy-the way coffee should be! Great coffee, great service, great pastries, great sandwiches! ❤️

The drinks are good, but not a good spot to get food. Atmosphere is nice & they set up the cafe well. Although, the cafe can have a really strong chemical smell due to the nail salon right beside.
