Bagatelle Bistro is how we like our neighborhood bistros to be. Nicely located close to the Maisonneuve Market, Bagatelle Bistro is a Bring Your Own Wine restaurant which offers tasty cuisine with Mediterranean accents. On a daily basis you will find that in addition to the à la carte menu, the chef prepares delicious dishes packed with fresh produce, which vary according to the seasons and market arrivals. Bagatelle Bistro is also very popular for brunch on weekends. During the summer, grab a spot on the lovely terrace to enjoy the breeze and the sun!

Service excellent & bel endroit, mais les prix sont beaucoup trop elevés. 2 entrées; un petit bout de chèvre sur un mix de salade & 4 tranches de saumon fumées sur sauce & la facture est de 50.76$ sans le tip. C'est beaucoup pour ce que c'était, je ne pense pas y revenir.
Délicieux, belle présentation des plats, serveur sympathique, professionnel & efficace. Ont respecté notre demande spéciale lors de la réservation. Stationnement facile. AVV très apprécié. Nous y retournerons.

La nourriture est excellente, le service aux petits soins, a l'écoute, rapide & efficace. La déco est jolie. Je recommande vivement. Merci à l'équipe !
On est allé souper hier pour mon anniversaire. J'ai commandé la lotte & ma fille la bavette de veau. Le potage était bon mais sans plus. Quelques morceaux n'étaient pas bien mixés. Lorsque la lotte arrive c'est une grosse motte par dessus les légumes & c'est complètement cru. Le serveur renvoie le plat en cuisine pour le cuire plus. Ça revient après quelques minutes & c'est encore cru & immangeable. Je demande à la serveuse de changer ma protéine & garder les accompagnements. Elle me propose de changer mon plat. Je prend donc la bavette de veau comme ma fille parce que j'y ai goûté dans l'assiette de ma fille. Je demande medium rosé & ça arrive saignant. Découragée encore de ne pas avoir la bonne cuisson… La serveuse le ramène en cuisine. Finalement c'est mangeable. Ma fille avait demandé cuisson médium & c'est arrivé bien cuit. Décidément le chef ne sait pas faire cuire viande & poisson. Grande déception!!! Nous n'y retournerons plus jamais. Une chance que le service était incroyable…

Note : Nous avions demandé une table à l'intérieur, mais comme nous pouvions difficilement converser à cause de la rumeur ambiante, j'ai demandé une table en terrasse. Le transfert a été fait rapidement & avec le sourire par le personnel, ce que nous avons grandement apprécié. Bagatelle est chaleureux, sa nourriture exquise & son personnel accueillant.
This charming, neighborhood bistro offers a superb 4 course tasting menu! The staff was very welcoming & attentive & they provided excellent service throughout our meal. Our seafood appetizer for two was exceptional & both of our entrees were outstanding in terms of freshness, preparation & portion size. Last but not least it is BYOB. We brought our own wines but there is a wine & spirits shop two doors down if you so choose. We were staying in Old Montreal & we recommend taking an UBER if you are from out of town. Bagatelle Bistro is not to be missed when visiting Montreal!

Hidden gem in Montreal! We ordered the lamb & the fish, & honestly - it was the best meal I've had in a long time. The lamb was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, & packed with flavor. Both meals came with a choice of soup or salad, & even those sides were delicious - fresh, flavorful, & clearly made with care.
The fish was also perfectly cooked, with a nice balance of textures & subtle, layered flavors that really impressed me. Every part of the plate had intention - nothing felt rushed or generic.
Overall, Bagatelle Bistro delivered not just great food, but a memorable dining experience. I would absolutely recommend it, especially if you're looking for a BYOW spot with top-tier cuisine.
Toujours très bon & portions généreuses. Super restaurant de quartier avec un service attentionné & chaleureux. Excellent rapport qualité prix surtout que c'est un « apportez votre vin ».
