Wonderful food & service. The owner welcomed us in early when he saw us looking in. The skewers were incredible & so were the fries & salad.

The 3 of us were staying overnight in Longueuil on February. 13th 2025, & we were looking for a place close to the hotel to have lunch, that is how we found the Avon Grill in a small shopping mall, walking distance to the Dolphin.
Not too much from outside but a nice decor inside with an homage to black famous people on the walls.
We really liked the Rwandan food menu, everything was tasty & we really liked the curry rice & the fried plantains.
The chicken & beef brochette's were overdone but the Sambusa's were nice.
I hope that they fixed the HVAC system because there was lots of smoke coming from the kitchen.
We will be back for more & we will keep you updated.

Very nice intimate spot. Black-centered atmosphere with hip hop 90's music & art deco. The owner keeps this spot very clean in fact he cleans the entrance after all customers enters the restaurant. He was very courteous & seem to prepare his food with love for his consumers. I went with my sister for her birthday & even though there were no cocktails listed on the menu he made us two & OMG we could taste the alcohol. It was so good. We had the samosas for appetizer. They were delicious too. The meat was well- seasoned, & the pastry was crispy on the outside. She had the goat platter that was also well seasoned crispy yet moist & I had the tilapia platter. Both was served with fries & a delicious salad.

Stopped in on our visit to the Montreal area for a delightful meal. The rice was some of the best rice I have ever eaten anywhere. Chicken kabobs were great.
