This is must try one of my favorite restaurants for Turkish food in Downtown Montreal again! I can't wait to order the chicken plate, manti, & filet mignon because everything was incredible the last time. I'm already recommending this spot to friends for our next outing! Manti was so good 👍
Affordable price for good portions
We ordered 3 mezzes (sarma, muhammara, & börek) & each was just absolutely delicious. Packed with flavour. The staff was so nice & we were able to watch them making the thin lavash bread thar the server us right in the room.
One of the best resturant in downtown. So happy I found it.
Shymaa is so hosting, kind & loving person.
You feel home at this place..
Quality, prices, service are the same since I tried them 3 years ago.
Highly recommended 👌 .
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, & I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.
The food was exceptional
The staff were equally impressive
Management deserves special mention.
Thanks for a great experience!
Excellent restaurant !
The absolute #1 Turkish food in Montreal, & their Konafa is #1, fresh, & delicious! They even lowered their prices!! Unheard in Montreal!! Same amount of food! Their service is always with a smile, I return on a regular basis & refer many who are looking for a great restaurant downtown. Enjoy! Great for families, couples & friends.
A Taste of Tradition: Turkish Culinary Gem in the Heart of Downtown Montreal
In the bustling heart of downtown Montreal, there's a Turkish restaurant that has quietly stood the test of time since 2006. Amid the city's fast pace & modern distractions, this spot offers a rare & authentic taste of tradition.
The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the sight of a woman at work, expertly rolling out dough by hand-an image straight out of a Turkish kitchen. She's been with the restaurant for decades, & her quiet dedication sets the tone for what's to come: fresh, handmade dishes rooted in time-honored techniques.
The space itself is modest in size but full of soul. Traditional Turkish décor & artwork bring warmth & cultural depth to the interior, creating an atmosphere that feels both familiar & transportive. On select evenings, the addition of live music further enhances the experience, blending sound & flavor in the most inviting way.
What truly sets this restaurant apart is the unmistakable sense of care in every dish. Each plate is made to order using top-quality ingredients-no shortcuts, no compromises. The flavors are rich & comforting, evoking memories of meals lovingly prepared by a grandmother's hands.
The standout dish during our visit was the manti, a Turkish classic. These delicate, hand-folded dumplings were absolute perfection-tender, flavorful, & finished with a velvety yogurt & butter sauce. It's the kind of dish that silences a table, if only for a moment of pure appreciation.
We ended our meal with the quintessential pairing of Turkish tea & lokum (Turkish delight), the final sweet note to a deeply satisfying & memorable experience.
This is not just a restaurant-it's a celebration of heritage in the middle of downtown. A true hidden gem for those seeking authenticity, warmth, & a culinary connection to tradition.
