Reviews of Amir show a mix of praise for service and portions, with several diners noting friendly staff and solid meals, including claims of the best chicken pita in Montreal. Some comments point to dry meat, plain rice, salads that differ from other locations, and meals that seem to dry out if not eaten promptly. A health concern is raised by one reviewer who reported illness after a sandwich and an impression of a grumpy owner. Overall, service is frequently highlighted as a strength, while food quality and consistency vary by visit, leaving an uneven impression.
Amis is supposed to be Amir, but this one is different.
The rice is plain, the meat is dry, the salads are not the same as other locations. I always went for lunch, the gentlemen & lady at the counter are super friendly, but the food quality is what is the most important, hence the low score.
I feel like there is not enough volume so the food has time to dry out.

This establishment offers exceptionally fast customer service. Their menu features a selection of flavorful chicken & beef plates & sandwiches. The dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients & cooked to perfection. What sets them apart is their signature garlic sauce, which is a must-try.
