The food was amazing! However, the service wasn't the best. The three waiters were sitting on a table on the side on their phones, talking. When the food was ready they brought everything & never came back to check on us & see if everything is okay, if we need anything else. We all finished eating about 20 mins ago & nobody came…

We stumbled upon Amber Restaurant when the nearby Japanese place was full - & we're so glad we did! The dal makhni & chana masala were absolutely delicious, rich in flavor, & cooked to perfect desi style.
The rice came topped with crispy fried onions, adding just the right crunch & depth of flavor - it totally blew my mind! We also got a bowl of onions on the house.
Special compliments to Chef Ali & our wonderful hostess Hafza - their warmth & hospitality made the meal even better. I literally licked the dal makhni bowl clean, & my Punjabi husband said the chana tasted just like authentic North Indian chhole.
We were so hungry, we didn't even take a photo - that's how good it was!
👉 Tip for future visitors: If you want that truly authentic Indian taste, just ask them to prepare the food desi style - they'll happily do it. I hope you love it as much as we did!

Un grand coup de coeur pour le restaurant Amber ! Les plats sont toujours excellents - à chaque fois, j'ai l'impression que c'est la première fois que je goûte quelque chose d'aussi bon ! C'est tellement délicieux que je ne peux pas m'empêcher de manger sur place & de prendre un plat à emporter. Cette fois, notre expérience a été encore plus spéciale grâce à Scayla, une serveuse incroyablement gentille & souriante. Elle a été attentionnée avec moi & ma petite famille du début à la fin. Merci pour ce beau moment, & un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour votre accueil chaleureux & la qualité de votre service !🥰

Excellente expérience. L'accueil était chaleureux, le service attentionné du début à la fin, & chaque plat était un vrai délice. On sent que tout est fait avec soin, autant dans l'assiette que dans l'ambiance. Mention spéciale pour l'équipe en salle:souriante, professionnelle & vraiment à l'écoute.

We found this place by accident on our way to the Mount Royal Metro station, & we're glad that we did! The food was delicious & the atmosphere felt warm & cozy, like a neighborhood spot:-)

En 2025, c'est rare de trouver un plat comme ça à ce prix.
En plus, on peut apportez son propre vin - c'est génial.
Le service était aussi très aimable.
Quand j'ai voulu laisser un pourboire, on m'a dit qu'il était déjà inclus dans le prix.

Ordered dinner to go in person. The location is easily accessible & tucked away from the high traffic areas. Their spicy sauce ambience is perfect for dinning with friends or family.
The staff were polite & very pleasant. They provided recommendations on what to order. I ordered rice, naan & gobi. The naan was delicious.

Everything was excellent from start to finish. Service was great, friendly & attentive. Food was great & it's BYOW! We brought our 90-year old mother & she loved it. She had never eaten Indian food Before. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely exceptional Indian cuisine. The prices already include the tip which is a nice bonus (& kudos to the owners on that move). Not only is the food fantastic but the ambience of the place is both welcoming & higher end without feeling snobby. Just a fabulous experience all around.
We've ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, naan bread, samosas, kanda baji, & a chickpea salad. Every dish was better than the last & we had enough leftovers to last another 2 meals.

Le poulet ou l'agneau Korma sont décadents, les naans au fromage exquis & le service impeccable. Je ne peux pas recommander plus un restaurant, à visiter!
