Amber consistently earns praise for delicious authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine, with rich flavors and generous portions across dishes like butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, lamb korma, dal makhni, chana masala and biryani; the menu also offers many vegetarian options and halal ingredients, and the option to bring your own wine adds value. The ambiance is described as welcoming, stylish and cozy, making it suitable for date nights, group dinners or casual meals, while the service is repeatedly noted as attentive, friendly and professional. Some reviews mention that during busy nights the dining room can be noisy and the pace can slow, and a few point to price changes, but overall the dining experience is marked by consistently tasty food, good value and a warm atmosphere with a strong team behind it.
Food was decent, needed more salt & spice. Left the waitress $7.50 as a tip & she tried admonishing me in front of my table since it wasn't exactly 15%. Very rude
Great atmosphere.. lights could be dimmer at 7:30 pm for late February
Like the bring your own wine.
Had chicken tandoori , excellent. Found out after I could order spicy version .. will definitely go back & order extra spicy .
I don't know how this place doesn't have all 5 star reviews! It's so good, everything we had was amazing- butter chicken, chicken korma, onion baji & the cauliflower bites. The service was great!
I have loved this restaurant for a few years now. But the recent hike in prices is outrageous! Within less than a month prices increased over 40% for main dishes. I can't think of anything that would warrant such a steep & sudden change. As much as I like the food & the atmosphere of the place, I'm not sure I will ever return. The food is good, but absolutely not worth these prices.
Très bon restaurant indien Apportez votre vin. Le service offert par kamilla était impeccable. Nous avons partagé plusieurs plats & nous nous sommes régalés. Nous y retournerons!

The food was mediocre - you can't complain but I wouldn't come again. Considering that the price is way too high in my opinion. Additionally the staff/owner wasn't very friendly. There is better Indian food in Montreal.
