Located in an ancestral home built in 1895 in the heart of Old Sainte-Rose, Restaurant Amato serves authentic Italian cuisine in an intimate setting with warm décor. We are especially proud of our terrace which is known as one of the most beautiful terraces in Laval, or even in Quebec. In addition to feeling amazed in a garden with so many beautiful flowers, the terrace also has a fountain, a gazebo and auxiliary heating. Come enjoy our little corner of paradise!

Les bouteilles de vin sont très impressionnantes, j'ai lu qu'ils avaient gagné des prix pour leur caveZ
Notre choix c'est arrêté sur Retro une bouteille bio de la région d'abruzzes en Italie (excellent choix - 60$)
J'ai pris le plat de pâtes à la vodka sauce rosée très bon.
Mon mari a choisi le menu des fêtes avec le gravlax de saumon & betteraves

Quelle belle découverte nous avons fait ce soir en allant à ce superbe petit restaurant pour célébrer notre anniversaire de mariage. L'accueil est exceptionnel & la charmante Amélie est tellement mignonne qu'elle augmente agréablement le plaisir d'être à cet endroit. Les plats qu'on nous a servis étaient tous meilleurs les uns que les autres: crevettes à la moutarde, calmars grillés, joue de boeuf, escalope de veau au citron couronné au final d'un délicieux tartuffo. Nous retournerons définitivement. Les prix sont en accord avec la qualité exceptionnelle de la nourriture. Bravo à toute la famille pour cette petite merveille de restaurant.

Seems like the people going there are the usual people hanging in the neighborhood
Small place went for special occasion. Left unexpressed. Waitress accused me of tipping $2 when the tip of 4 was $33. Never ever open a mouth without getting your eyes checked first. Service slow for a week day. Bread rolls close to non existent. One serving of four. Then when asked for more she threw the serving of two that's all I have knowing we placed our order for food. Meal was nothing to brag about. Better meals in Little Italy locally. Attitude too high for us. Waitress need etiquette courses.
We went to celebrate our children's wedding today, food was excellent, slow service at times, for the amount of people in the restaurant, the one waitress offended me in front of my guests by asking me why I only left a tip of $2 when I left her a tip of $30, then she covered up her stupid remark by saying that she need to get her eyes checked. Damage done, wont go back, better dining elsewhere & cheaper & better service
Ma premiere & non ma derniere ! , Tout étais excellent , le service , l'ambiance & la nourriture était vraiment a la perfection . Merci au propriétaire de nous avoir reserver une place a la derniere minute .
