About us

Located in an ancestral home built in 1895 in the heart of Old Sainte-Rose, Restaurant Amato serves authentic Italian cuisine in an intimate setting with warm décor. We are especially proud of our terrace which is known as one of the most beautiful terraces in Laval, or even in Quebec. In addition to feeling amazed in a garden with so many beautiful flowers, the terrace also has a fountain, a gazebo and auxiliary heating. Come enjoy our little corner of paradise!

Amato est mon restaurant préféré. Tout est impéccable. La nourriture est excellente , le service est parfait & l'ambiance est calme comme je l'aime. J'y vais autant un couple qu'avec un groupe( si vous y prenez d'avance ,il y a deux salon privé au deuxième étage)

L'atmosphère architectural & musical est relaxante. Le personnel très courtois & discret. Finalement le repas exquis pour l'ensemble c'est à dire la présentation,la quantité & qualité. J'ai apprécié aussi le geste gratuit qu'il on fait à ma mère de 90 ans. Pour tout cela,le prix est très justifié.

c'était ma troisième visite. Tout était vraiment très bien. Si vous avez quelques centaines de dollars à dépenser c'est un excellent endroit. Ambiance, service, nourriture. Très recommandable.

Serveurs sympatiques & professionels
Pâtes cuisson parfaite & savoureuses, par contre, les crevettes étaient trop cuites, un peu caoutchouteuse,
dommage puor le reste tout était parfait,
petite suggestion, votre panier de pains chauds (excellent) mais au lieu du beurre ou qui accompagnerait le beurre.
une assiette avec un mélange de Vinaigre balsamique & huile d olive, comme le veut la coutume italienne dans laquelle je baigne depuis 26 ans .
Le coût est un peu élevé aussi je vous avoue, nous étions 5 personnes & tous étaient d accords à ce propos.
Oui, j y retournerais tout de même mais porter attention a la cuisson des fruits de me

La nourriture était excellente & la présentation soignée. Le service était bien & discret. & nous étions installés sur une magnifique terrasse toute discrète à l'arrière du restaurant. À conserver dans mon carnet d'adresses!
