About us

Located in an ancestral home built in 1895 in the heart of Old Sainte-Rose, Restaurant Amato serves authentic Italian cuisine in an intimate setting with warm décor. We are especially proud of our terrace which is known as one of the most beautiful terraces in Laval, or even in Quebec. In addition to feeling amazed in a garden with so many beautiful flowers, the terrace also has a fountain, a gazebo and auxiliary heating. Come enjoy our little corner of paradise!

Beautiful garden ambience. Professional & friendly staff. Delicious food. We had the privilege of dining underneath the gazebo which is cozy & private & heated too for those cool nights. It was a pleasant experience & would return anytime.

Restaurant romantique à souhait à l'italienne comme ils savent aussi bien faire. Personnel attentionné, nourriture excellente sans exception & que de bonnes bouteille pour les vrais connaisseurs de vino! Pour un tête à tête ou entre amis, vous serez comblé & vous ne resterez pas sur votre appétit! Je recommande la Burrata en entré. Une vrai. Ils ont des tables extérieur avec jardin pour ceux qui désirent manger à l'extérieur. Je vous recommande la joue de veau. Belle grosse pièce qui se défait à la fourchette. Nous allons y retourner assurément!
